I think what a lot of people would want to see is a video showing us the capabilities and limitations for creating beats and recording tracks on the Go keys 5

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll create a future video shoring how The GO:KEYS is severely stunted in this department. I have been unable to create beats and do anything more than layer and record one instrument. With a DAW, it becomes a different beast!

@@phillc that would be a fantastic addition to the video, that way you can show existing owners how to extend the capabilities of their board, as well as help potential buyers decide if it’s right for them! The Yamaha DHX 670 looks like an eyesore compared to the clean design of the Roland Go:Keys 5 though. I can see either one being the right choice for different people. I'd rather take the Go:Keys 5 because it seems to fit me better for what I want to do. Yamaha always has very nice piano sounds though and I own two Yamaha keyboards. I'm more in the Roland ecosystem and like the available downloads.

Design and aesthetics! Ah! Nice point. Thanks for sharing your viewpoint. The design is so slick. Reminds me very much of Apple and their minimalistic approach. Fewer buttons, easier navigation.

How's the sound quality on your GO:Keys 5 speakers? I really like what the keyboard can do and the sound selection..etc. But I've heard some say the speakers are a bit of a let down, crackles, pops.. I hope my local music store eventually have a demo unit I can try, really interested in this keyboard.

@@Kreegrrr ...to tell you the truth...even though I have 3 PA's I've only used headphones... surprisedly good quality Roland voices... 256 polyphony helps along with an excellent effects generator.

@@jazzplayer59 That's good to know thanks! I'll see if my local music store has a demo unit so I can play around with it and test the speakers. So far it ticks every box for me.
