I think the 1200 oil commission is actually good, i mean like 18000 exp for 6 ships, u use 1200 oil for total 108000 exp, yes i agree if u want to focus on 1 single ship this method is not that good but for long run (training more ships), i honestly think this commission is really good, especially for some weak ships, because they cant really get mvp bonus from battle and have high possibility to die

Do keep in mind that event stage XP is considerably lower than XP from regular stages. A siren fleet is going to give less xp than an equally strong fleet from regular maps. Simply putting the event map to their corresponding campaign map: The diffeculty of A1 and 3-4, with 155 xp vs 255 xp. Then D3 and 11-1, with 505 vs 718. During the event, the event currency makes up for that, but it's one of the many reasons why war archives are such a waste in their current form. Also, don't forget that dorm morale gain from the second floor is slightly higher than the first floor. 50 per hour instead of 40, which comes down to 5 extra battles per hour. With oaths giving an extra 10, boosting the first floor to 50 and the second floor to 60 morale per hour.

Literally have AL in Bluestacks open whilst watching the vid, so I can definitely concur that it's a good product. Not to mention that it's absolutely free so there's literally no reason if you find yourself using larger devices regularly. Slight note for the lecture hall: You said that xp that goes into the lecture hall doesn't go towards ships leveling up. I just wanted to clarify that this does *not* subtract any xp that your ships would've gained otherwise. It will always create the same percentage (which depends on the upgrade level of your lecture hall) of the xp that your ship gets after a battle and put it in the lecture hall pool. If your ship would've gained 1000xp from a battle, having a maxed out lecture hall doesn't mean that your ship only gets 800xp and 200 is sent to the lecture hall. It means that your ship receives the full 1000xp and an extra 200 are created for the lecture hall. If you're running it constantly at 5 full slots you can think of it as a flat 20% (at max upgrade) increase to the xp your fleet is gaining overall.

1st option: dorm+sortie were good +mvp makes it better. 2nd option: dorm + 10hrs commision (1.2k oil commision)

One plus side of the oil commision is that it levels 6 at once (so the 18k is 72k), and it can also be a nice option to get early levels quickly with minimal effort (although those are also the ones where your fuel costs are lower). Actual fights are generally going to be better though in the long run (for PR xp generation if nothing else, until you've got them unlocked)

Hi @Anders FYI, the Naval Curry is a reference to the Japanese Navy. The current modern incarnation, the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Forces (JMSDF), actually still cooks curry EVERY Friday for the sailors.

As someone who is suffering with the PR ships grind, I find this to be very useful

The trade-off for the 1200 Oil Commission is that sometimes you can also get cubes from it. There are others with Cube drop-chances, but you can maybe get 1-2 max, if you're lucky, whereas that one can nail you 5-8 cuberinos. Along with that, farming with a low-cost fleet means usually your Main will get all the EXP, while the Commission will give 18k EXP to all 6 ships assigned to it. So maybe it's more like.. 18k x 6 that you can get away with, for only Oil (which folks should be farming daily through other Commissions anyway). Also, for the dorms, the lower level food can be used to fill out most of the bar, and you can use the Curry to still give an EXP boost for a limited time. It will take 10 Oxy Cola, 5 Coolant, 5 Torpedo Tempuras and 1 Naval Curry to fill out the bar, and if you're a F2P Shikikan, it helps mitigate the costs somewhat (you get 10 Cola per day just doing a certain amount of runs for Oil, and you get 5 Coolant for restocking the Dorm, while the Tempura and Curry you can buy with Oil). Lastly, there's also the PvP Exercises, they still count towards ship EXP and their major advantage is not costing any Oil. You basically get 10 "free" runs every day, and can farm a lot of EXP if you pick your fights correctly (never fall for the 4000 Strength trap, it's always some chad with maxed-out stats that'll level your fleet with only 1 Vanguard and 1 Main, both of them 120 and Oathed with some cool skins). Otherwise, thanks for the tips man, and hope to see you in-game (I'm also on Lex and will keep an eye out for you in Chat :P)

Another addendum for the commission: You compare gains for ONE ship by fights with 18k PER ship (total of 6) from the commission. So the total gain from that 1200oil is 108k XP spread over 6 ships. Still a little less than your calculated XP from farming, true.

I've come to notice that as I put more ships either in the training dorm or the classes, the amount of EXP starts to reduce. Ex) If I have placed one ship in the dorm to train, she will get 1.8k EXP per hour. If I add 4 more ships in the training zone, their EXP gain will be around 1.1k. The same logic applies for classes as well. The EXP is still good, but if you want to level a specific ship as fast as possible, it is best to have them either train or take classes by themselves. On a side note, I had no idea about the flagship bonus, so that's pretty good to know that. I guess now the main thing to worry about is the ship getting MVPs for that 200% EXP multiplier.

Correct, not Royal Naval Curry. It's the translation of "kaigun curry" with kaigun translating to navy sailor(lit. "sea soldier"). It's served every friday on Japanese naval ships and consists of Japanese curry, rice, a green salad, and a glass of milk. The regional dish of Yokosuka is curry due to this.

Perfect timing! Need to min-max mamagi and Tosa quickly! I've prepared a ring for mamagi as all shikikan should. Also, i got almost all the ships in 80 cubes! (Hanazuki doesn't like me lol) also my oil supply is burning (20K points currently)

Great video as always bro if I may I would also like to share some of my techniques in leveling your ship girls Dorm: •Use at least 1 or 2 naval curry during replenishing not only that this give you the bonus exp but also saves you some oil. Once you've done that just chug it with oxy cola or those cheap foods. Strategize on maximing the efficiency of when you're food may run out cause no one likes a shikikan that doesn't feed their ship girls. •Every once in a while there would be those food that is only buyable by gems in the exchange tab at build. I recommend priotizing gold bullin>those food>elite bullin. Exercise: •Don't waste those 10/10 chances to do this a day since this does not only require no oil to enter but also yields good amount of exp for no cost at all and you get merit as well so it's a win win. Try finding enemies that have around 8-10 k backline/frontline power since they are relatively easy to defeat, and is time efficient for the amount of exp you get. "But sir my fleet is weak I can't defeat the enemy" do the exercises still, you won't lose anything and you'll still get exp and merit even if you lose so treat the exercise tab as a free 10 battle exp (though not that much if you lose) unless you find shikikans with meme fleets as their defense go for them to yield max rewards ( I for one have a Ark Royal loli fleet as defense so I'm basically a free win). MIGHT AS WELL CALL AZUR LANE GRIND LANE JUST LIKE FATE/GRAND ORDER IS CALLED FATE/GRIND ORDER AM I RIGHT?: • For efficient farming try to put the map threat to safe since this will provide a def buff to your fleet and lessen running into surprise attacks • As for places to farm go for 8-4 or 12-2 these are great places to farm. •Don't limit break a ship only once they reach at least level 69/79/89 then go for it if you are grinding that ship since limit breaking a ship adds more oil to their cost and more oil when grinding is not good civ so don't do that. • GRIND and don't be damn pepega and being lazy by just relying on commisions for exp. Sorry if this is redundant for you guys. I'll commit seppuku

Don't forget that the big 10-hour commission gives some other big rewards - especially the cubes and the gold are very handy! Usually a better choice than buying food, i think.

Actually the 1200 oil commission is good, because you can put 6 ships and still pay 1200 oil and earn 18k XP fpr each ship, so you divide the cost by the number of ships you put in When there are 6 ships you pay 200 oil for 18k XP for each ship, 4500+ gold and other resources

The most important thing for sorties in my opinion is that less ships are better, because relatively speaking a bigger part of your fleet gains the MVP bonus. Example: If Map gives 1000 base xp, you gain 3000 total (leaving out flagship bonus) with a 1:1 fleet so basically 1500 per ship. If you use a 3:3 fleet you would 5*1000 + 1*2000 = 7000 total so basically 1166 per ship, while paying the same amount of oil per ship.

I wonder what the efficiency with gold/oil between doing battle and doing the 1200 oil commission. From my experience, the 1200 oil commission gives yo not only u XP but also a lot of gold and sometimes 5-7 cubes. With a lot of gold, you can do as much research for PR ship blueprints as you want, while cubes and gear parts are definitely important. You also can not get cubes from battles. In my opinion, another thing you should add for newcomers is to level up your commander to level 90 as fast as you can, optimum is to do battle as much as you can with a 2-2 formation for oil/xp efficiency. When you are lv 90, you get the most amount of oil and gold from the canteen, then you can spam commission and battle however you like. Beside that, a little investment to the trade license every month is a very good deal from my experience.

there is now the Siren's map which gives you exp for all the fights that's not effected by oil cost or happiness levels. you only spend anchor cost to get onto each map which is based on the level difficulty of the map starting with danger level 1 that has level 65 ships that gives 450 exp per defeat and cost 5 anchor points, going up level 2 with 72 ships that gives 580 exp for 10 anchors, level 3 with 85 ships givng you 690 exp for 15 anchors, level 4 with 92 ships giving you 850 exp for 20 anchors, and finally level 5 with 110 ships giving you 1000 exp for 25 anchors. the higher the difficulty the more ships there are on the map which is why the exp is better with higher levels and each battle gives more rewards in higher difficulties. you get 200 anchor pool that regenerates back over time and can be refilled by either spending oil or gathering the boxes in the shops or story that refills it. after you finish the story mode you can get boxes at each of the ports around the map that have a resupply shop. the map resets every month for new bonus rewards and you can use up to 4 of your fleets on the map at once which is great because you can have your lower leveling group for the smaller exp grind and switch to your powerful group to defeat bosses. once I run low on oil I always switch over to the Siren's map and level all my ships under 100 on that map. usually you can spend 2 to 5 hours on that map alone which will allow your oil farming team to regain their happiness in the dorms and your oil shop to refill your oil supply.

Also forgot to mention, Langley also gives an XP bonus to carriers, similar to Yuubari for cruisers.

I think it's worth mentioning that Amazon has the same exp skill just for destroyers

1200 oil commission is actually the most efficient way to level subs and vanguard and you get roughly 5k coins I recommend people try to run it as much as possible and only put your subs and vanguard to run it

Correction for Academy: No need for them to gain no XP, every over 100 gives profiency DURING SORTIES. So PvP gives nothing, nor things like commissions (same for the PR Farm).

I just 2:3 12-4 with a 0LB langley also (if theres a CV at back, so it becomes 3:3 since langley takes a slot) dont even need to skill people and backline levels can be super lax frontlines dorm everything to 100 second floor has everybody but lowest level person on first floor since only 5 slots and having langley with red face ruins fleet lock (have to click ignore for the pop up warning) Got a dock full of many rows of 120's like this

I don't think, after a certain point, the point of 10h commission is the xp at all... The gold and _other stuff_ however, is very nice. Good vid overall.

I'm pretty sure you can feed your dorm 1 navel curry and fill the rest with the cheaper snacks and you'll still get the 5% bonus. i do this and it saves me tons of oil.

Farming exp in events is a looot slower than on regular maps, so that information is a little misleading. Base xp for D3 on the current french event is 618 for 3-stars / 702 for sirens. Meanwhile the base xp on 11-1, which has the same lvl for mob and boss fleet, is 863. Nearly a 250 base xp increase between the 3-star difficulties.

another way is using PVP since it's free from resources and relatively fast as well

Wouldn't the commision giving 18,000 XP be more advantageous when leveling 6 ships at a time than just one? That's 108,000 XP for all 6 ships. Not just one ship. Regardless it's a huge oil sink I don't do during events.
