Been using Vittorio, Aquila, and Duca for Operation Siren (strongholds and lvl 6 siren coordinates). They absolutely dominate!

One important thing to consider is that the gold helldiver may only be marginally better than the purple, but it is more dominantly BiS in the long term due to +13.

I’m afraid that, unlike in Spanish, you are supposed to pronounce the ‘u’. AH-kwee-lah. Great info, though. What do you think about the pirate squadron Corsair vs the Tigercat? Is it as simple as choosing between more anti-air / bigger bombs?

aquila might be a nice replacement for my casablanca in the opsi mob fleet. i'm still too weak for strongholds without using hundreds of healing kits. the problem is that i'm all out of red books, so i can't use her yet.

The skill stays the same but now Aquila can't equip dive bomber on 2nd slot. It's now defined as fighter slot, prevent you putting dive bomber there

One important reason too Aquila does a ton more damage here than VV is that she's the same level as the mobs, so 0% damage penalty, while VV is 12 levels lower so 24% damage penalty for her against them.

I run her 1/1 with Azusa, or whatever vanguard pr farming I can do. I use the extra fighter, so thicc mamma Azusa stays fresh

I put a fighter in her 2nd slot at first, now when I want to change, it won't let me. even if I sort only dive bombers (which I have plenty of), none are displayed and cannot be selected to change her gear. Any ideas?

Is your Aquila already at LB3? She can only equip dive bombers when she is LB3. Otherwise, it might be a bug.

VV doesn't need mid position to buff her friends (also Aquila is getting MVP EXP buff).

But historically speaking, Vittorio Veneto is the Eternal flagship of Regia Marina, so it doesn't make sense to make Vittorio Veneto the flagship. Plus, Aquila hadn't been completed and hadn't been commissioned. Plus, Vittorio Veneto is heavy armor wich makes her tanky against AP & HE. She's also a BB that can tank a lot of damage. Also, Littorio had a fixed barrage so putting her in the middle is also not a problem. The thing is why you didn't go for full Italian fleet and just try her on Chapter 10 stages so you can use the full extent of the faction buff of Vittorio Veneto in your fleet. Like Zara & Pola in front of Duca degli Abruzzi? This guide's not truly loving the Italian theme and faction. The video should've been better if you use full Italian fleet with Italian music BGM.
