This General(Ret) is an exemplary person. He really is a pro. He has the integrity, knowledge, expertise, caracter, and courage. Dereje did well in bringing him to the interview.

I found the interviewee's answer in regards to becoming commissioned officers to be illogical, he said the sole objective of having an army is to fight , thus, as long as a person proved to be competent in a battle, he/she should earn a title of an officer. What about all these countries' armies around the world which never spent a day in a battle or a war yet have so many generals? . An officer , specially high ranking officer should exhibit the skills and mode of thinking both in peace and as well as during war . Abebe, appeared to be humble, soft and receptive, and sometimes plead ignorant, this is a new face of old and new TPLFites. Of course, still there those who bark - like G Reda. Is this the new strategy ?

Yes the role of the military academy is to make the military competent.Even though TPLF troop was full illiterate people it has defeated the well trained and well equipped derg power led by generals of the known military colleges. They were appreciable , passionate and disciplined instead of boasting and being rude like derg soldiers.
ስልቻ ቀልቀሎ፣ ቀልቀሎ ስልቻ Two faces of a Coin! ወንበዴ Are you talking about the የአረብ ትራፊ የለቃቀማችሁትን? Ato Dereje, I listened to the first segment and your probing, powerful questions intended to help the interviewee to think deeply and reply. However, the general' responses thus far were evasive as well as defensive. We heard from many ex-Air Force personnel how the TPLF run EPRDF government embarked on dismantling the much respected and capable Air Force defense system the county ever had. Hence, I found this interview uninformative and a disposition to behave in certain way. I will listen to the rest of the segments, though.

Thank you for liberating Oromos from Amhara oppression. Oromia owe TPLF much more than any Oromo parties. Thank you TEGARU.
Dereje, by far this was your best interview. You asked the so called general very good and critical questions, it doesn’t matter if he answered it correctly or not. Thanks to TPLF they successfully destroyed one of the best army institutions in Africa.
Yeah Right Could you tell a major turning point battle tplf fought with Derg. On other hand majority of the battles were taken places in Eritrea mountains not tigray . I hate to admit We Ethiopians know who was major player of the war and that was EPLF

Ethiopians have deep rooted hatred over shaebia for all the wrong reasons. This journalist is an example. He thought shaebia was to blame for the Ethiopian military armaments depot. The General even told him, he don’t think so. Shaebia ‘s mission was to help stabilize the situation in Addis and minimize casualties in the transition, so Ethiopia have a peaceful transfer of power. Even though woyane took a different course, Shaebia sacrificed its beloved heroes. As some may think otherwise, Shaebia could have played a negative role in Ethiopia and destabilize the Horne of Africa as a whole. But from its inception EPLF’S doctrine was of statesmanship.I don’t want to miss place to those who recognized Shaebia’s contribution (positive) to Ethiopia and set the record straight and gave Shaebia its due credit and respect. The Eritrean people and Shabtai went through all hell,by successive Ethiopian administrations.
