Today we're checking out Jam Hsiao, also known as 蕭敬騰. He sings Mandarin Chinese songs, and he's really good. We actually went to see Jam Hsiao Live in December 2018, and at the time, we had no idea really of who he was. After the show, we fell in love and we absolutely enjoyed it.
A Jam Hsiao reaction wasn't really requested, but the vid came up on my suggested one day, and I thought it'd be fun to watch given that we saw Jam Hsiao Live. So this is his performance from 11 years ago or so on 星光大道. We didn't know this, but this was the show that got him famous and got his career started. Here he sang xin bu liao qing 新不了情 and 背叛 which he became really famous for. Now he's pretty famous for his chinese songs so it's really cool to see where Jam's journey all began.
Recently, he's come out with Pi Nang, as well as some other new songs! Check em out if you like!

It’s really nice to hear you guys recognizing his hard work before and after his debut. You can definitely tell how much he improved his skills. He doesn’t even eat spicy food or drink to protect his voice! This is how professional and serious he is about singing!

It's true that he doesn't drink alcohol or smoke and drink lots of wwater. But he does love to eat spicy food. His manager/business partner/most likely GF is very smart that she got him a professional voice coach in LA to teach how to use and control his voice. Otherwise, he would have f-up his voice.

蕭敬騰沒有哭，是緊張到胃痛，整場硬撐到結束，看他的手一直放在肚子上，也是後來在某個訪談節目，才說出來那天的狀況。

或許他們看了第三場比賽的影片，只是把它剪掉了(因為很明顯他們看的是蕭敬騰比賽的cut)，和楊宗緯PK新不了情輸了之後，他哭了。(或許無關勝負，但整場比賽的氛圍真的對他很不友善)

Haha that was the year where yoga lin was competing and where he won the whole show. Jam wasn't a competitor but more a guest competitor against the competitors. If a guest competitor won against a main competitor, the main competitor would face elimination. But jam did very well and became very popular because of the show even though he never competed.

Guyssss go check out Jungle Voice. It’s a singing competition hosted by Jam and Yoga. It’s literally the same producer as this show and it’s full circle for Jam and Yoga.

hey guys, you should be watching more Jam's rock band 'Lion'. "新不了情"was a hit song for over 2 decades before Jam sang it, "背叛" became famous song because the show that Jam and Aska Yang (楊宗緯) had a competition over this song. Yang is also a great singer, and yes, Yoga Lin debut after this competition, so basically they have same start. Yang was the guy that whole country estimated him to won this competition, but Jam was the guy stopped him, it was a great segment. and you're right, the boy is謝震廷, he is 26 years old now, still fight for his career in this industry, he won the 27 GMA (金曲獎)最佳新人獎.

Actually it's him makes the song 背叛 so popular, after that episode of 超級星光大道. And he also strat to become famous after that. He is guest contestant for the show, so Yoga Lin did scare at the time haha. Lots of singer come from that show, there's also a singer called 楊宗偉, he and yoga and 蕭敬藤 are the top three.

@@CantoMando Jam wasn't technically a contestant that season, I believe. The way he put it in an interview, by the time he wanted to enter, auditions were already over, so he auditioned for S2. But then the producers invited him on to S1 to be... uh, not sure if there's an English term for it - 大魔王 - to PK against one of the unlucky contestants, lol. @@CantoMando Jam was in the show season 1 as a challenger, not the contestant, although prior to his first appearance on the stage, he actually already registered himself for season 2 but instead the show asked him to go for the challenger session and that he could still participate in season 2 afterwards. But after singing those 3 songs as the challenger, he gained his fame without having to go for the season 2. You may also check out if you like, his Rock band~ the LION Band, he formed the band in Sep 2016, outstanding rock music!👍 Btw, Lion will release their 3rd new album mid of this year😉Jam has always been a Rocker, Mr. Big and Bon Jovi have always been his music inspiration🤘Thanks for doing this awesome video, absolutely love Jam!❤

Hey you gotta watch the episodes that he was competing with his biggest rival, 楊宗緯, at the time. coz those were epics!!! the competition was pretty intense. They even sang the same song for better judgements. Gotta watch that bros.
