Excellent video father Clement but I was a bit perturbed by what you said in the video: "उत्पादक अपनी उत्पाद से बड़ा होता है" This might rub some people the wrong way and I am led to believe if this line of thinking is something borrowed from Roman Catholic apologetics who focus on the authority of their church over everything, because when I read fathers like St. Cyril of Jerusalem or a more recent St.Ignatius Briachaninov I see a deep reverence for scripture and not as something underneath the Church. I have come to understand the scripture as a revelation of God who is ultimately the origin of the revelation. This truth is then received, written, preserved, canonized, and interpreted by the Church(all under the guidance of the Holy Spirit) which is the pillar and ground of the truth. My knowledge of patristics is limited and please clarify this if I am wrong. The above words will sound as if the Church produced the scriptures apart from God which is understood by many protestants as just a human organization. I think it is better to describe the production of scriptures as synergistic involving both the human and the Divine as you do at the beginning of the video but somehow this line seems at variance with the earlier words. Also, there is an inability to identify the distinction between the divine logos and the scriptures by some protestants. (Once I had a friend say that the Word of God existed from the beginning) I hope you made another video addressing this and other misconceptions regarding Sola Scriptura. Thank you.

As you know, holy scriptures in the Orthodox Church are venerated, we view scriptures highly, but at the same time appropriately. Scriptures are most important part of the holy tradition. Bible as a book is indeed a product of the Church in co-operation with the Holy Spirit. Indeed, no divine revelation is received without Holy Spirit, who dwells and acts through the Church. Therefore, there is always a synergy- cooperation between human and devine. This is expressed in the video where the work of the Church and the Holy Spirit dwelling and working is mentioned. Bible is not underneath the Church as you said but as the same time it is also not above the Church. It's proper place is inside the Church. As Bible is a divine and human so also the Church is divine and human as the Son of God also is. Therefore, Bible "belongs" to the Church as Church "belongs" to the Son of God. All authority belongs to Him and the Church, His body shares in that authority. The Holy Spirit who inspired the holy people to receive devine revelation did not cease to dwell and act in and through the Church after the canonisation of Bible. These videos were only about canonisation of OT and NT therefore, didn't go into much details of Orthodox view of the Bible. It will be covered in another video.
