The context behind Petra's coming out scene is actually so badass...the dude she was with (Milos) is her abusive ex-husband, and in an earlier scene that episode when he found out Petra was in love with a woman he declared, "Now I know why you didn't love me! You're a lesbian!" So to set him straight, Petra leaned in right when he was about to get arrested (as we see in this clip) whispering, "Btw I'm bisexual...IT'S YOU." Just to emphasize that she was fully capable of being attracted to him; she just wasn't because he was a massive jerk. 😁 Petra was such a badass in the later seasons of Jane the Virgin. 🏳🌈

Adam's coming out scene was extremely relatable to me as a bisexual teenager. I teared up the first time I watched it. Coming to terms with one's sexuality and telling it to someone is, in fact, very scary

I came out as bisexual as 19 years old, just when covid hit the fan and I finally had time to think things, since almost everything in the world was on hold. Funnily enough, I was just watching B99 and Rosa’s coming out scene was quite remarkable inspiration and encouraging element for me to get out as well.

Samee, i came out as bi at 20, and the pandemic gave me a lot of time to think and to put things in their place. For me was Victor from Love, Victor. His family and context were really similar to mine, so he encouraged me.

Yes! Although probably two years coz of that scene in crooked kingdom. See that's what I like about Nina though, she doesn't have to be in a same sex relationship for us to recognize her as bi. It's truly beautiful

@@book_wolf_1939 yess, I love it when we get bi rep of characters in het relationships. It's important to recognise that bisexuality is just as valid no matter who your partner is at the time. It's usually always criticised though, wish sucks. We'd definitely have to wait more than 2 years for ck considering they'll go through the s&b trilogy first tho... yikes

I love this so much and I have a small story 😅 I came out to my parents as Bi-Sexual and sadly my parents don’t believe me that I am Bi, we were at dinner at a restaurant and my mom bought up how I had a pride sticker in my car when my dad picked me up from school and in my head I was like “why didn’t you just bring it up then instead of now” I didn’t say anything of cause it’s my business of course however, I was mad cause it’s annoying how my parents are old fashioned and they chose to not be open minded and they are the parents who are ok with lgbtq people as long it’s not their kids which is sad, I’m in college of course but I still have to hide my pride pins from my parents and etc, but I don’t care what they say, I know who I am and they can’t stop me from being me. I chose to not come out as non binary to them cause I know they will have the same reaction as they did before.
