My sister was adopted in france in early 1990s . I dont remember the year as i was 5 and she must be 3. The women who adopted her promised my parents education in a boarding school in hostel for me as we are from a poor family. Now i rarely have a conversation with my sister and she speaks in french onky.I belive she must have gone through racial discrimination in france . I strongly discourage nepalese children adoption in western land. Well i didnt have a good time in my school hostel years in nepal as well. This is a serious issue you have raised.

@oop4658 Lol nah dude. this program was mostly targeted to those tribal rural people who are very poor and cant able to afford meal to entire family " some sort of famine" . It not like they are sold for sex slave or other they live with foster family.

@@nepalidiy well imagine adopting narendra modi when his father was selling tea would he become what he is today. Yes it is necessary to give equal opportunities to children. But i believe in his own country. And we adults or nation should be responsible for of children's future. Its a long debatable question but a child cannot choose his way of life. It was only after 1950s nepal opened to the world. There was a problem before and there is a problem now but i believe we should solve our own problems. Until when Should we expect for westerners??

I also grew up in an orphanage at kathmandu, yes everything you said in this video about how children are treated are correct. Khana banaune, vada majhne, safa sabai hami lai nai garathea, bihana uthera bui pusera school janupartheo, they didnt even buy us the books. Ani they would get a lot of donations, donationsma chamal, tel, sugar haru aayo bhane they would sell it and keep the money. They wont even buy sanitary pads for us. lot of children on that orphanage were not even orphans and they all were adopted testai bau amalai lov dekhayara. Kati ama bau taw tyaha aayara royara basthea gatema. Even my own sister was adopted family but thankfully the family is really good. Hamilai ani aru pani dherai tyaha bata bahira gayako bachha haruko parentslai bachha haruko contact nai didainatheo, hamilai pani social media chalauna didainatheo. Jati pani bideshi aauthea they would ask us to ask for money with them. It was horrible experience. I was there for 14 years and i pray with god nobody should do that to their child. One boy(i know his biological family) was also adopted from there without letting his mum know anything about it and she is been trying to get in contact with him, he is now 21 and he says he couldn’t care less about anybody from nepal. Bichara kati runuhunxa usko mummy, she asked for help with me but he wont listen to me as well.

The fault also lies with law. Why can't the people who want to adopt choose which child they would take with them? The children and parents both should get to choose each other. If the people could choose they would go for legal process.
