High-end speaker designer Bang & Olufsen landed at CES 2016 with their new BeoLab 90 speakers system, and very complicated, internally amplified pair of stereo speakers that needed to be seen - and heard - to be believed.
Cementing B&O's reputation for a signature style, the 90s feature an asymmetrical driver layout, multiple built-in amplifiers, auto-sensing acoustic adjustment abilities, and a price tag likely north of $50,000. For two of them.

I've been a professional recording engineer for over thirty years, and I've worked in some of the best recording studios in the world and I can honestly say these are the best speakers I've ever heard!

yeah and they use 18 amps per column worth approx $1800 not $50k monoblocs of some insane audiophiles ;)

I don't know why all this negative feedback. It's just my opinion, I'm not claiming it to be a fact. Some people like vanilla and some people like chocolate. But neither of those people are wrong.

+Dumb Bell a little less, but about that yes - but to be fair, one of them is a "gift" to the office (my business) - so that has been a little cheaper because of tax deduction :)

Sounds like a bargain comparing to other high end priced speakers but really have to be ABed to tell. And there is no such thing as absolute in the audiophile world.

Yes thats per unit. Friend of mine works in a b&o shop and said they sold a pair for about 150k usd.

John Hio , They are currently about £54, 000 a PAIR , here in the U.K. . That about $65,000 US at today's rate per PAIR.

Does Bose have a 63 KG aluminium frame? And 18 amplifiers for each speaker? And weigh 137 KG each?

Trash period. people use to trash other designers who made multi speakers. said it was overkill. Well guess what it is and only through digital manipulation can they sound good. Out side processing for less money.

Vince Dae Never said I heard these exact speakers. Only other brands which feature multiple speakers with in the cabinet which other reviewers said it was over kill and they rely on digital processing to sound any good due to all the sound waves bouncing within the cabinet. Natural sound is the best aka analog. These speakers will be touring around the nation to some authorized dealers if you wish to hear them.

+Dario Molina I own two of them so I don't need to go to any showroom - and you can't compare analog and digital, it would be the same as saying "a manual is better than a automatic" FACT is that technology is gotten so advanced that digital/automatic Is the BEST Way to go, even if you think you're better than a digital solution....
