I had a friend who was born and raised in South Africa. Her parents are from Taiwan, and she visits Taiwan every year. Her Mandarin is quite fluent. She showed me the pictures of her house and cars in South Africa. They are even bigger than the ones in North America. Apparently, she is rich. She only wears expensive clothes and uses luxury handbags. But she also told me that crimes happen quite often in South Africa. It was pretty interesting seeing my friend hold her South African passport with her hands😁

My husband is South African,and I’m from Taiwan! He say the same thing🥲 it’s so difficult for him to travel…especially we live in Taiwan! And he is a pilot,he have to use his passport for work,can’t give it for embassy to do his visa🙄🥲

I feel so related :( I can't believe someone had the same story like me.. I got a month visa to India with my HK passport then my plan was to get out of the country and enter again. Therefore I flied to Nepal and went to the embassy of India, had an interview and waited for 3 weeks. I also got food poisoning in Kathmandu and couldn't leave the bed for a week. At the end they rejected my visa due to political issue between China and India. I was so broken and booked my flight to Hong Kong, but then my flights were cancelled 2 times in a week. There's no explanation what happened to me. So I went to Israel for 2 months and I just booked another flight to Hong Kong next month. Finger crossed I can fly after almost 2 years to Home Kong! There's a saying in Hebrew: all for the best. If something in the world blocks your direction, maybe there is another way to reach your family. Good luck GG!

Well GG, don’t be that sad. Our mainland Chinese passport neither provides you with great travel convenience nor provides you with adequate consular assistance in case of emergency (like Covid). Both us, Aussies and Kiwis had problems coming home due Covid, but their inconvenience solved after around 2 years but there is no end in sight for us. No need to mention Aussie and Kiwi passports provide you with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to almost all countries that worth visiting.

Don't cry, I have the Chinese one, and it was almost impossible to travel to Europe without tour group. I haven't even think about apply for traveling visa when I was in China. But luckily I am going to change it soon.

Me and my husband had been planning for traveling to japen in the last 3 years .Mine is Australian passport and my husband is Hk passports, in normal circumstances is so easy for us to travel to Japan. However , due to the Covin situations, we not able to travelling anywhere because these days if you want travelling overseas you need additional vaccination passport:(
