I made that same set up with that same backpack about 3 weeks ago. Have one for my APC9 pro and another with my GHM9 pro .

You should slide some Kevlar in the back pack in order to make a bullet proof vest.

with the APC9K, you can get much smaller backpack, which is even cooler. you can probably get some super small sling bag for the K version. 5.11 makes good products, but they all look tactical. Probably not the best choice for carrying a firearm, although it does look cool..:-)

Or you get the GHM9 compact - the package gets even ligther 🙂

My brand new SPR 300 Pro had feeding issues the first time I went to use it. Paid 5300$ not including the 2 tax stamps and 400$ folding stock (which came assembled upside down and backwards from b&t, returned and second one came the same way) now I have to send them my brand new $5300 dollar bolt action gun because it wasn’t tested for quality control. I’m pissed. Hope I don’t have to wait 6 months. They didn’t respond to my emails. So my dealer is trying to contact them. I will never buy B&t again. Also came missing a magazine and the instructions.

The APC9 comes with flip up sights you can keep or remove on your own setup. With short compact systems there is limited real estate to mount "all the things" and sometimes one needs to prioritize. Besides, if you have a pistol in your waistband, it would likely be time to transition if your optic on your carbine goes out. Especially if both platforms are chambered in a pistol caliber.
