As he interacted with the friendly locals, Baalwala learned about the city's fascinating history and was amazed by their stories of resilience and courage. Despite the heat and humidity, Baalwala's excitement grew with each passing moment as he inched closer to the finding the rare temple. Baalwala left Lahori Gate with a deep appreciation for its people, culture, and history, and vowed to return one day to experience more of its wonders.

Translation for that slab with Hindi at 8:20 - "This Shivala (Shivala/Shivalaya is Bhagwaan Shiva's Temple) and Mohyal Ashram (Mohyal Brahmins lived in Punjab and North-West Frontier province prior to the partition) was built by Bibi Durga Devi wife of Raizada Narsingh Das Vaid Saheb who was the able son of Raizada Amir Chand Sahib Sakna Kotali Zila Sialkot Vaidaan in memory of her husband Raizada Saheb and her sons --jijaan (Unable to understand the initial letter here) Ramnath and Daulatram.Year 1858 Vikram Samvant (Hindu Calendar) = 1801 A.D." It seems like this place once belonged to a Punjabi Hindu Mohyal Brahmin family and was built in 1801 around 223 years ago.

@BaalWala, The board in Hindi Script Devnagiri at 8:20 reads : OM Raizada Amirchand sahib Sakna Kotli zila Sialkot Ved ke yogye putra Raizada Narsingh Dass Ved sahib ki dharm-patni Bibi Durga Devi ne apne pati Raizada sahib aur apne putra Sanjigyan Ramnath aur Daulat Ram ki yaadgaar mein ye shivala aur mohyal aashram banvaya. Samvat 1958 vikram ( as per current calendar it is in year 1901) Those, who know Hindi/Urdu may not need any further translation !

Yes There are 3 Lahori Gates i seen in india 1. Lahori Gate (Patiala Eastern Punjab) 2. Lahori Gate Sangrur 3. Lahori Gate in Red fort Delhi The reason of these gates. The all gates are located in main way to go Lahore from these cities.

Your Narration is very informative and strong with soothing sound. Never seen these places before despite many visits. I think Original Lahore has disappeared and finding it again is no more than treasure hunt...I have read Lahore Awargi by Mustansir Hussain sb, and he himself has referenced Munshi Kahniya Lal a lot...stay blessed

It’s pretty much the same in Indian Punjab.Muslims migrated from Indian Punjab to Pakistan and their masjids are left without any care.They have become literally ruins or destroyed or in many cases converted into gurdwaras or simply demolished.

Contents covered in Lahori gate area adventures are so fluid in your impeccable style of presentation. Kudos ! Perhaps, you may be aware of this fact that, there is a historic Lahori Gate in Delhi, India too? It's naming probably has same reasons as that for Delhi Gate of Lahore !

@@hassanaftab1270 Bhai Jaan, Lohari lafz ke mayne toh pata Hain, lekin aapke comment mein 'steal' worker jayaz nahin hai. Steal means chori karna. Shayad aapne galti se likh diya, steel would be appropriate. Nahin?

I came across your videos on YT by accident. But I am so mesmerized with your monotone voice, your language skills, though I don't understand a lot of words you use, i just enjoy listening to it. Saddened about the down fall of the Ma Kaali temple in Lahore and heartening to see the ruins left behind. Wish there is dept of conservation that takes up to restore all these dilapidated places that hold so much history. Ty for all of your research you do to find these places.

Dear BaalWala ji, What a fantastic shooting of Lahore and the historic old memories! I keep watching all your shoots of the historic places all over Pakistan narrating memories of that time. Your DEEP PASSION about the history is amazing. Seems like you have gone into that era while roaming around the narrow lanes, touching the remains of the places... Wonderful. Commentary and coverage is nothing less than National Geographic or BBC films. Thanks for sharing this wih all of us. Indians must be loving your work. Keep it up. All the Best. Come to India sometime with your passion. I too want to visit Pakistan for 6 months at lease to visit the all the historical places that we know about from our history books during school and college and then through many other books and documentaries. 😊❤🙏

I am a regular viewer of your channel. Really admire your work. Also, my grandparents were from Pakistan Punjab and even Balochistan. Pakistani Punjabi is exactly the same as our bade buzurg use to speak. Please if possible someday show Balochistan too.

@@Jhandgyan मैं इस पक्ष में हूँ, 'न मंदिर तोड़ा जाएं, न मस्जिद या और किसी धर्म का आस्था स्थान' मैं इस चैनल के माध्यम से जिस वीरानगी से भरे हिंदुओं की गलियों को देख रही थीं, बस यही प्रार्थना है, ऐसा कभी किसी मजहब के लोगों के साथ ना हो। मंदिर की हालात अच्छी नहीं है, फिर भी यह चैनल संतुलन के साथ हमें हमारे विरासत को महफूज रखने के लिए प्रेरणा देता है। बस इतना ही कि बहुत कम लोगों ने यह संतुलन रखा है। हमें भी आपसी बहस से दूर होकर मन साफ़ करना चाहिए।
