Move counters are a repeated topic in puzzle games, which means of course, it needs to be parodied by the Baba Is You developer.

I actually didn't learn about the hotkeys so I did all the puzzles manually. Luckily you can increase the counter by bumping into a wall, which is mandatory for some puzzles. Also for the one that requires 1000, you can go into the crevice with the flag and press up, left and down at the same time and the counter will increase by 3.

Now replace the number with a roman numeral so the length changes constantly and some digits just disappear

Just imagine the last level just said "box is push" and "wall is stop" and you break wall is stop and everything resets and there isn't a wall.

i remember playing this trio of games, the 1st one was easy, the 2nd one i got stuck on because i didnt think outside the box but i eventually did it and breezed through the other levels, the 3rd one i got confused on by a lot, but i managed to beat it

I managed to complete the IXLCM level only going into the 100s, so some players have gotten to the last level without knowing you can press keys to skip time. When I got to the 4 digit level I just started mashing the keyboard to make it go faster and found it by accident, the other person I saw just kept manually ticking it 1 at a time up to 1000 because they didn't get it...

@@gaminator1953 it doesn't show you, it just shows the letters ourside the playing areas and you never need to skip in that level, I thought the text was odd but because it was irrelevant to the solution it got ignored.

@@Ka_muu the first thing i did when i saw that level is press the corresponding keys shown with the letters and saw the counter increase, thought it was kinda obvious. guess everyone thinks differently

`6:00 Realistically, there should be "D" in there, to add 500 to the counter. I have a mnemonic to remember all the Roman numerals. `9:10 I think the joke here is that you need to move the "M (1000)" to the right of the "MAX". This would mean that the maximum is technically 1k, which would make the puzzle WAY easier.
