Not gonna lie. I'm surprised there haven't been way more sokoban style games with different shaped blocks. I even have an idea of a game where you can push any solid object including stuff like houses (which also changes the warp coordinate for that object) and walls that are the size of the entire map. The only restriction is no multi-push.

I watched the video expecting a plot twist about walls, there wasnt. Maybe this was the plot twist hempuli intended

I tried the game myself, highly cursed but honestly pretty cool concept Also the puzzle at the 2:50 time mark can be solve in a different way: the small block can get pushed to the upper right corner, anchor the L piece back using the T piece so the L goes upper left and the other down to the last X

Overall this game and video look interesting, but the weird background noise (music?) makes it hard for me to watch. Is this just me? (To me it sounds like out of tune as well as garbled electronic music?)

The actual answer is that the backing music is custom-made for these "Baba Developer vs." videos because the dev didn't make any music. I also have had a consistent annoyance in my life where (besides for some people who seem to share the same music taste as me) I get more compliments on my music when I spend LESS effort on it. The first piece of custom music I made for this took 12 minutes to make, and pretty much instantly got 2 compliments, while I often struggle to get anyone to compliment a track I spent weeks or months on. So that's why. I just made the music with even less effort than that for this video.

@@IcelyPuzzles Thank you for the explanation! I had missed that it was *your *background music in the others, as it felt like it was part of the game! (IMO the "best" game music is there to not be noticed, but improve the experience). Really well done! I personally don't listen to a lot of music, but have worked with game music in particular for a few years, so I know a little about it :) Now I'm off to listen to your music playlist!
