I think you are amazing to even get organised enough to do a podcast when you have a baby, never mind when you are struggling with hormones/mental health. Well done you. Hi Grace, it was lovely t sit down with you today. I love your EPP project. I have such fond memories of my mum making a hexagon quilt cover when I was little. In fact - I found it at my Dads the other week and I have a mind to get it made into a quilt and send it off to be longarmed. it would be nice to get it back into use again x take care of yourself and enjoy getting some of your own life back. x

I am so glad you are back however wanted to clarify the US does have maternity leave it depends on the company you work for my company it is for 11 months paid if you have that much time planned off or you can take that off unpaid and it also offers paternity leave for dads as well Some company’s are 12 weeks

Ah, how lovely to see your knitting progress on the lovely boxy sweater. The Let's Knit Festival sounds lovely. If only I were not accompanying my lovely husband on a motorbike trip to Morocco at that time! Are you still watching Itchy Boots? That's where she is just now, & her videos are homework/preparation now. :-)

It is so nice when you can start to have some time of your own back (even though it is short and goes in a flash!) I have never done paper piecing (so take this suggestion with a pinch of salt) but could you do a half hexie, or 2 third hexie, to fill the triangle space and give a straight edge?? Your pouffe cover is really gorgeous and removable is such a great idea.

Yes I think that’s what I’m going to do. And then add a strip of biased binding or something to hold a cord to cinch it closed.

@@GraceTheBabbler I love the idea of a cord to cinch it rather than elastic. I am looking forward to seeing it - eventually! I remember those days when my children were young and time for myself was fleeting and I also remember how long it took me to achieve anything. Still takes me ages but that is more due to too many projects and procrastination 😂😂

I am a Newbie with raglan pattern. Do you add stitches to the armpit when you separate front and back? How many?

Yes! I added ten stotches on the underarm because I wanted a big body and big sleeves. Looking back I might have added more! We will see
