So great to see you, Grace! I totally get your foraging - I do the same where I live in western Oregon, US - our climate is very similar to yours & we share a lot of the same plants. I, too, have hazelnuts growing wild around me. But here, they're a "weed"! (And grow like them!)

Hooray! Good for you and continuing to breastfeed and pump! Don’t let anyone bully you about it. I’m glad you’re so smart and can shut down anyone who gives you grief by providing proof that it is evidence based best practice!

Nice to see one of your podcasts, its been a welcome distraction since my poodle just passed at 15yrs old. Im devastated as you can imagine and your calm recording helped me feel a tad better. Thank you, Hope you have a good week.

I've found the baby and toddler knits last longer than you think. As long as you ignore the patterns and make the body and sleeves really long! Babies don't seem to grow so much around the middle but outgrow the length of the knits first. And the best thing is that you get an FO in a relatively short time.

I second this, my baby sister only just stopped wearing a jumper we made over two years ago for her - but the body looks diproportionately long. If we'd made the sleeves longer too, she's still be wearing it.

Great to see that you are well Grace and THANKS for the link to UK Wildcrafts. The first episode I saw was the one with hawthorn ketchup - YES now I can do something with that damn hedge we have (I hate plants with thorns).

So good to see you! I’ve been gathering hazelnuts, too. You can make a nut butter & add a bit of melted chocolate for a sort of Nutella 😊

Loved this vlog. I know you're concerned about the time constraints of editing while trying to record/ be a parent and then throw in working your backside off at the same time. Maybe you could consider minimal editing/ raw ish uploading? Please don't think I'm trying to tell you what to do. But you come across as having a very natural flow and thought process. I personally love how you come across on screen.
