I was drawn in by Babcock State Park because in Pennsylvania where I am from, we also have a state park by the same name. First of all, I want to send my thoughts and sympathy to your entire family in the loss of your father. My husband passed away from esophageal cancer in 2015 and had 2 years of battling this heinous disease. We still had child in college so it was tough for her. Our daughter’s wedding is September 23 & I will be giving her away on a beach of The Eastern Shore. She has a locket with her and daddy’s picture to be part of her bouquet and I had a silver small finger print on a chain He worked for the RR. I could never walk up those steps! The park was truly beautiful and peaceful. Thank you 🙏🏼

Thank you so much for watching and for your thoughts and sympathy for our family. I am so sorry you had to go through this as well. It is such a hard road, and a terrible cancer, as you know. So happy to hear about your daughter getting married, and we wish her all the very best. The park is definitely a special place for us, as is that whole area, since my Dad and Grandparents all grew up there. Appreciate you!

BEAUTIFUL, i live and work in NC but i have a nice hideaway/house in WV, when i get a long weekend i need to check that out! Sorry about your Dad, any cancer isn't easy.

Cool looking place. For the last two years, we have gone to Bradshaw, WV on mission trips with my church. West Virginia is such a pretty state. This area looks like a great area to visit. Is that bridge you were showing the one that everyone goes and jumps off of each year?

Gorgeous state, full of wonderful and good people. Yes, this is the same bridge, that all happens on "Bridge Day".
