so true, babies develop at their own pace. It is scary when it isn't on the typical timeframe, but it is simply a sign to watch and sometimes they simply need a little extra help. Most catch up over time.

Oh my goodness! Your little is so beautiful! I think you’re onto something when you mention how sitting isn’t really very important for kids besides for eating, that’s probably why she didn’t even bother haha! Oh boy when my daughter was a baby I was worried when I saw she was turning one and not walking yet but babies develop at different paces not all babies are the same I agree never push them because they’re not doing what we think they should be doing

Ewa I guess kids take their own time.. My lil one straight away stood.. Seriously he didn't sit first.. I would try to make him sit but taking a support he would stand 🙄

I have four kids. Some were early on things some were later. My son is 8 months now and is super laid back and just rolls where he wants to go. He gets annoyed if I try to make him do anything else lol. Personality can play a role. My eldest is very hyperactive and was early in everything because she just couldn't get around fast enough. My last two...super chill.

This is happening with my boy girl twins lol my girl is everywhere couldn’t wait lol 😂 same way in my stomach! My boy he could care less he wants to roll and army crawl everywhere lol and he DOES! lol if I try to make his sit he flops back hard lol 😂 he he’s just not interested honestly lol 😂 they’re 9 days short of 10 months and they were 1 month early scheduled c section

Thank you for this video❤️ I felt like I was alone because every baby I see who is younger than mine can already sit or crawl. My daughter is turning 9 months tomorrow and she still cannot sit on her own unsupported. She only does a soldier crawl right now as well. It makes me sad to see other children hitting their milestones and mine is still not there yet. Her 9 month checkup is this month so I will be mentioning it to the doctor. Thank you for sharing your experience with other moms. I understand that it is important to let them do things when they are ready.

Hi! My baby just turned seven months , she is a bit heavy , so I’m thinking maybe she can sit still because of that? I do tummy time and she’ll lift her head and she’ll start to turn or flip you Can say but not sit yet . If I sit her she’ll go to the side .. but she will sit if I have a heavy pillow around her

My baby is not sitting at 6 months yet. It's so hard not to compare with other babies! If I didn't do that, I wouldn't even think there was a problem.

Hello, my daughter is 8 months old and when i put her in sitting position she had 0 interest and she arches her back and head backwards and just falls down. I watched your other video when your daughter is in your lap and i realized she does/did the exact same thing when you were holding her in your lap she arches backwards. My question is if your daughter also had head lagging? Because my daughter still has it at 8 months!! When she lays down and i drag her from her arms upwards to sitting position it is like the head just lays back doesnt come up with her body, she insists alot also because she doesnt want to sit. But she can hold her head steady while on stomach from 6 months old!! What is your experience on that? The doctor told me that maybe she has autism because of head lag… makes me worried

I think my daughter head was steady. They can't say she is autistic at 6 months , maybe she just needs some type of exercise to make her neck stronger. I wouldn't worry about Autism yet and look into some baby therapy instead if you feel like the head is not as it should

My daughter also arches her back when put in a sitting position and falls down, and has head lagging when I drag her arms up. But she is crawling on her belly, and rolls and rotate. She is now almost 10 months and a half. This month we are doing a brain MRI. For autism there are other many other signs...not only lagging head. And usually is diagnosticated later 2-3 yr old...when you can see that the child avoids to look you in your eyes, doesn't respond to his name, and so on.

@@marlee1108 my daughter is 12 months now and we did an mri on brain and she has changes in white substance the doctors doesnt know why she has these changes or what it means for her. My daughter is late with everything. Crawling, sitting standing ect. She started sitting up by her own at 10 months and also crawling at 10 months, now at 12 months she can pull herself up against furniture but not completely alone yet

My baby will be 9 month old be we are concerned about her milestone she can sit but sometime she just fall and also she can’t crawl yet not even she can stand , whenever she get excited she starts to shake her head ! Is it normal ?

My boy just turned 10M today and he does not sit. I am far from worried…he crawles, stands up, walks around furniture … here, where I live it is strongly recomended by physiotherapist to NEVER EVER sit up your kids untill they can do it themselves cos that is when their bodies are ready to do that, the muscles around their spine developed enough to support them. Untill then it is actually hurting them to be in sitting position - it might show later in life as some maybe headaches, flat feet, neck problems,…but none will probably connect it to premature sitting then. Honestly I would like him to sit up cos it is going to get easier for me but I respect his time and surely it will come in time :-)

I’m from Poland and we have the same approach (at least young parents , old grandparents will sit the baby up) to never force baby to sit . I really tried hard to remind myself that during these long months with my daughter

My baby is 11months old and still hesitate to sit! I am bit worried and reaching doctor. I have make them sit only for 5mins and she was able to sit however she goes back to crawling stage.

I have a 10 month old son who won't sit up on his own. He won't even crawl. Most of the time, I blame myself for it. It feels like I'm not doing enough to make sure he is healthy and developing at the right pace.

Is always good to talk to a doctor, he/she can see bigger picture. 10 months is still a baby and he has time . You keep that child alive and that’s all what matters all the skills will come :)

When she started bearing weight on her feet? I am not talking about pulling or standing on her own. I am asking when we lift usually baby bear weight or bounce on feet.
