The 2 way zip is a 100% must! Especially if you use a sleep sack or sleep bag.

Such a good video! 👏🏻 We’re just coming out of the newborn stage and everything you say is spot on 👌🏻 although we were very lucky and our baby didn’t really spit up so we were fine with less of each garment than you suggested. Although you never know!

Thank you for a clear explanation. I kinda had an idea about layering up from other videos online but you’ve just confirmed to me the amount of clothing we would need. I agree if you don’t want to do a frequent wash or having an add on stress not having enough then get more clothes. Ok they grow out of it quick but there are plenty of good quality second hand clothes some mums sell in bundles. Gonna watch some more of your videos as you’re very nice 😊

One thing i wanted to say that ive recently discovered, when the zipper stops at the crotch instead of going down the leg it can be more difficult to change the baby if theyre being stubborn and holding their legs stiff lol. Also harder to get their legs out if they are about to move up a size. Just something to consider, i didnt run into this until recently with my second and shes 8 months old but fights her changes right now. My first was an easy going baby and this wasnt a problem for him but something to think about incase you get too many of one kind of sleeper lol.

Excellent video! Thanks! Just like you, I had no idea why some parts of the clothing were designed in such different ways. Anyway, I was also expecting something about dressing the baby with NOTHING sometimes, at least some ideas of when to do it. I was raised most of the time partially naked in order to be more in contact with nature, like stepping on the grass, playing with the earth etc.

I worked with BB&B, LnT, Target, Kmart and Orchestra... as for baby clothes, first, you should think about the quality, not the quantity you need.

weirdly enough the temu bamboo suit with fold over hands are feet are raved about! amazing quality just like the wondersuit but softer would be perfect for spring and summer

This video is amazing!! Thanks so much. My baby is due end of Oct in Sydney. Would you recommend the 0.2 tog or 1 tog Love to Dream Swaddle? Also, would the singlets last longer than the singlet suits when the baby gets bigger?

Yay I'm so glad it's helpful to you! I think 1 TOG might be fine but it just depends how hot it gets. 0.2 TOG is only really needed for those hot summer days/nights when it's around 30 degrees or more. You can always get the 1 TOG and if it's really hot just dress baby in a singlet (or even nothing if it's super hot but unlikely in Oct?) Yes, the singlets would last longer than the suits :)

the first quality is Organic cotton baby clothes, then Pima cotton baby clothes, combed cotton baby clothes, and regular 100 cotton baby clothing is the bottom line you can use for newborn babies. never use mixed cotton or recycled cotton fabric baby clothes for newborns.

Baby clothes and the varied sizes confused me. So far I have short sleeve and long sleeve onesies, socks. I don’t have enough sleeper pajamas. First pregnancy and I’m already getting all this stuff 🤣

Every baby is different, mine didnt stain clothes at all being newborn. So theoretically i could not change outfit for days, but of course i changed it everyday. Now being 2 year old its a different story, clothes are dirty all the Time

I just watched another KZfaq channel and she said to never put fleece on your baby inside as their temperature can’t regulate.. rather an extra layer, but not fleece when inside.. now I’m confused 🤔
