It was also an amazing how Buddy and Darling are perfect future reflections of Baby and Deborah if Baby stuck to crime. Buddy even notices it and tries to get Baby to stop. When Buddy is trying to kill Baby, Deborah begins to get as fierce as Darling. Shoot, even their initials match. D & B and D & B.

Could also be cos Bats is a “red herring” the first time you see the film you think he’s the main villain and he’s going to be the biggest problem for Baby, but he’s dispatched fairly quickly and it turns out to be Buddy, who’s actually been pretty nice to Baby up to that point in the film.

During Buddy’s madness, he is always near red of some kind.

Everybody gets hurt by a robbery but the guys at the bottom get hurt most disproportionately, since not only may they be traumatized, but they may be out of work while the Police and investigators are surveying the scene and the time needed to repair damages and to upgrade security. This is even worse for smaller banks who have a handful of locations stands to lose far more from a robbery. -Additional police load, again you may not have sympathy for these guys but you are not helping the local communities by giving Law Enforcement more work. A bank robbery take precedent over lesser crimes, meaning a police force stretched thin may not be able to provide adequate service to lesser incidents. This also ignores the fact that waving guns around has the possibility of bullets flying. Somebody might try to be a hero, a nervous cop or robber might break and pull the trigger and people die. I could go on but there is no way that bank robbery could be considered anything but morally unjust and rightfully a serious crime.
