Your mini album came out amazing Cynthia, I just love how you made all the beautiful pockets, she is so going to love this mini, I don't know how I missed this vid. Could you please tell me what did you use to create the gusset binding (if cardstock what kind), your book looks so very sturdy, I am always so scared to this kind of binding for fear that the pages will rip of the binding if I embellish it too much. It looks like black cardstock but I am so not sure....BEAUTIFUL!!....tfs...hugs and blessings...Laura.

Hi. Thank you and I made the album book from scratch. I used card stock and chip board I bought from Michael's then added the decorative papers. There are a bunch of tutorials out on KZfaq on step by step how to make a scrapbook albums. Hope that helps and have fun making yours. ☺

Hi...Thanks so much for the sweet comment. Although I'm not a pro I can tell you from experience that the heavier weight papers hold up the best. I find so many cute patterned papers that are thin & I want to use them so I at least back them with a heavier card stock for durability. I use 65lb weight or more Hope that helps & happy scrapping :)

I made it out of chip board from Michaels & covered with card stock and designer papers. Just type in your search bar "Scrapbook album tutorials from start to finish" & a bunch of different videos will pop up showing you how to put them together. I don't currently do album tutorials. Hope this helps and have fun with it :)

This is glorious, I've been looking for "cheap scrapbooking ideas" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Tiyatalie Scrapbooking Blueprint - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my m8 got great results with it.
