Actually, all monkeys love to swim and all monkeys are excellent swimmers.

Just like the new kid at school. Very quiet, yet observant. Su has got to get the feel of things. It’ll change when Su is there longer 😊

This is how they are. Mo acted this way towards Na too at first. Monkeys are very competitive animals. They always want to one up the other. It’s natural. It will stop when Su is around longer. Mo could be handed a toy and him show no interest. But, if it’s handed to Su, he all of a sudden wants it! It’s the same with food. They’ll have their own, and the exact same, but they’ll want the others instead of their own. Like I said, they are very competitive animals. They are also gluttonous animals. People think they’re starving when they’re not because they have evolved to act that way since in the wild they don’t know when their next meal will be so they stuff their cheek pouches full. It’s all normal behavior.

@@BrutalBeauty90 oh I definitely know monkey will eat and eat and eat no matter what and that them saving food for later is just a natural thing that happens. It's quite clear that they are no starving especially Mo! Also I know that long tails are very good aggressive especially when they get older which it has been good of her to give them each a piece at the same time to help keep them not fighting also spacing at meal time helps as well where they can't easily rip food from each other. Little by little she will learn tricks and different things that help keep the peace. I personally just hate when ppl cal Na a bully when they all have their moments.

@@BrutalBeauty90 you’re not entirely wrong, but not entirely right either!! It’s not really competitiveness, it’s just instinct! So that’s correct about it being a natural behaviour. Instinct is what keeps wild animals alive! It’s the whole survival of the fittest thing. And it won’t ever really stop regardless of how long they’re kept together. An inanimate object won’t really have much meaning or importance to these monkeys, their entire focus is pretty much food. They’ll fight for the attention of their captor because that is generally the sole provider of food… this is why it’s so cruel to place unrelated monkeys together especially when they’re not even from the same troop. There will be an instinctual or natural heiachy in a troop of monkeys.. they are aware of those not in their troop from their scent etc, again instinct will control this. But put them in a totally unnatural captive environment where they’re constantly being traumatised and the result is disturbed behaviours and an intense will to survive… which is what makes them constantly attack each other aggressively!!

You are completely ignorant and couldn’t be more WRONG!! This is such disgraceful ANIMAL ABUSE!! These are WILD animals!! NOT domesticated pets, NOT human children!! How can you see this and actually commend this vile nasty excuse of a woman who is so atrociously inhumane and cruel to these poor suffering creatures???

They have to learn monkey social skills from each other and rough housing and fighting would even happen in the wild. Since they aren’t human children, it’s good for them to learn their own communication skills. Even though they are 3 distinct species who don’t speak quite the same language, they’re close enough to learn each other’s communication. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are sanctuaries, but yeah, unfortunately not a lot good comes to these intelligent, social animals as they get older, unless the people are willing to spend the next 30-50 yrs with them! And I’m sure in a couple of years, this trend of pet monkeys will pass and all these people will have to face the consequences and responsibility of poaching their mothers or buying them from poachers.
