Such a wonderful thing for parents to teach their children how to float at such an early age. One suggestion I would make if you aren’t doing it already is to teach the child how to if they happen to fall in a pool fully dressed with shoes on how to do the same thing in learning to float and then calling for help. So many children lost to accidental drowning‘s. So proud of these parents teaching this sweet angel how to swim and how to float at such an early age.

Question. I take my baby to the pool often and he loves it and even holds his breath while he is submerged under water for a second or two. However I don't know how to teatch him how to float, let alone turn and float. Any suggestions?

Baby opening her eyes on the water how is it possible I want to do it but I can't 😭😭😭
@Jordaniangeo Жыл бұрын
It's bad to actually it makes your eyes sting but maybe it's only in some pools. I did it before it hurt though. Just go underwater and open your eyes that's how I did it!

It can make your eyes 👀 red and irritated but that's about it and I swam with my eyes open in pools often it's the chlorine that irritates them but the less chlorine used in the pool the less it will bother the eyes

I question the logic in that choice, but when I was a six my father tossed me into the pool and said; fucking swim. While guiding a pool noodle around the water just out of my reach until i finally caught it.

That’s horrible logic. Not knowing how to swim is what CAUSES drowning in most cases. EVERYBODY should know how to swim. It’s honestly sad that not knowing how to swim is almost the norm in low income communities especially.
