The Soldier of Darkness has a cameo role in Babylon Squared. In Sinclair's fast-forward we see Garibaldi's troops shooting at invisible objects. Garibaldi says, "We can't stop them. They're everywhere!"

I think those were actually the Shadows. In "Babylon 5: The Road Home" they actually used that scene and completed it. The Shadows themselves boarded the station. I thought it was a good movie.

Dwight Schultz is a fantastic actor. His portrayal of Barkley on Star Trek when he got the mental boost and was in the play and changed his portrayal of the character.

Yeah I really liked him there too. He was an underestimated actor I think. Though he seemed to be the womanizer in the A-Team for real.

He seemed to have gotten kinda type cast as playing weird crazy characters after being howlin' mad Murdock on the A Team. Whenever I see him he's in one of those types of roles.

Christopher Franke's music is always just right.

I especially love the part at the end when someone pulls a flash drive out of the stations computer.

This episode of Babylon 5 was what Dragon's Domain of Sapce: 1999 was for another generation.

One of my favourite episodes of season 2. Especially when Amis stands in front of the creature that slaughtered his friends, used him as snack (as he describes it to Garabaldi).

The Amis actor is Howling Mad Murdoch from The A Team TV show and Lieutenant Reginald Barclay from Star Trek.

Schulz and Douriff were in almost every sci-fi show back in the 1990s.

Same with Tony Todd and a few others…work is work especially for actors typecast like them although given JMS’s obsession with getting back at Star Trek it’s likely they sought those three specifically just to shove it to that franchise.

This episode was a great step in the build up to the shadow war.

Reminiscent of the Krell monster in " Forbidden Planet" .

Dwight Shultz is a great actor, sadly this is his best character type so he doesn’t get the proper credit for his abilities

I have to agree. But I guess that is the case with a lot of actors and actresses.

Just watched this episode a few minutes ago. It's awesome, and that thing is bloody terrifying.

Yes and according to the B5 team the effects were not what they wanted. So i hope in the remake this will even be scarier.

Mr Murdock from the A-Team too;)

I find that bits and pieces of Ivanova come creeping out of me now and then, as in, " there's always a BOOM " . Don't the Russians also say that " the best way to keep a secret is not to tell anyone" ? Wonder why the writers never had her say that.

Just put a leash on it and walk it around the station, as Murdock would have.

@@JK-Visions would being on a space station be considered "flying" or "floating" in space and how would Mr T act accordingly?

Moments like this are why I could never warm to Franklin. His incredulous "All this on the word of a Lurker?!" His morals and ethics are all over the place. Look at his participation in the underground railroad, for instance. He'd seemingly move heaven and earth for them, but Amis...? 'Just a Lurker', it seems! Just another example of 'The Man' sticking it to a war veteran, I suppose.

Perhaps he dislikes the army. His dad wanted him to make a bioweapon against the minbari during the war.

Is that Matt Frewer? It sure looks like him.

So was this creature a Shadow, or some sort of shadow creation? The invisibility and the screams it makes while dying make me think so
@JK-Visions Жыл бұрын
Yeah they later told it was not as scary as expected. The CGI departement had a hard time with this episode.
@erikwhitney7403 Жыл бұрын
Was this the prototype for what they eventually made the shadows because it was never seen again. Always wondered
@JK-Visions Жыл бұрын
Yes, but they were very unsatisfied with the cgi results when finished so they changed it. And I am glad for the newer version is much scarier.
