Pa pa ya live, is probably the next closest thing to this

Nice! Thank for getting to this one. I agree with the other comments that Papaya featuring Thailand rapper F-Hero is probably the closet to this, but more pop.

Great reaction. They gradually redeuced the amount of red in their costumes as they grew older. 'BxMxC' was a Japan exclusive track on the third album released in 2019 and the costumes by then were all black - but with some interesting shimmery effect in the details (can you tell I'm not a fashionista?). Although this was a Japan exclusive track on the album (it was not on the international release) they did have this song on the set list throughout the UK and Europe tour in 2020 - and they blew the roof off ever venue they played at with it. I have 'borrowed' this information (again) - "They talked about 'BxMxC' in a recent interview. SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that. But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget! MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall? SU-METAL: Uh…what was it… KOBAMETAL (who happened to be there): Flow? SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind."

The name of the shimmering effect is: iridescence. I also don't know fashion, but I'm pretty good with Google and use Wikipedia. :-)

Agreed - but not the "official" video - I think whoever made that was mentally deficient and a large portion of it is just kaliedascope effects

Su-metal is an amazing talent, but what is great is that Babymetal pushes Su-metal (and everyone else involved) to their limits to deliver something truly amazing. Everytime Babymetal members are able to do something the goal posts are moved again to achieve something even greater. Su-metal, as a kid was taught some of the basics of rap, years ago, but this was her first real rap song. I've not seen anyone singing in the music industry adapt to a new style as well and fast as she does.

The red symbolizes adorable/cute/kawaii and black is their cool/metal side, they aren't little kids anymore, so their is black now.

Jumping to this song from Metal Galaxy after 2019 is big leap but probably this recommendations came because someone though you probably gonna like the rap/trap element, but just take in mind this is an unusual BM song and you're not gonna find a song alike to another. But i was just saying there's a lot of things to explain when jumping to this era so fast, for example one of the original member, YuiMetal, isn't here anymore after 2018 and in her place there's a backup dancer called _avenger_ There are three, none of them sing or have mic and aren't official members, they just dance. In this case the one in this live compilation is Momoko Okazaki. BxMxC (or just BMC, x is just a cool space bar, glad you noticed) probably means BabyMetal Cypher but fans like to have fun saying stand for Bring Moa Chicken, because Moa loves fried chicken 🍗 SuMetal is taking a real challenge with this new trap/rap metal song, she needed to find her flow and boi she can spit some bars and killing it on this one with the attitude. She actually rap since their very first song Doki Doki Morning but of course this one is on another level. But the hip hop and rap elements are more clear on songs like "Iine!" or "Onedari Daisakusen" way before this BxMxC song. This song was the last one added to Metal Galaxy 3rd album and is an exclusive track (along with "↑↓←→BBAB") is clear that they took a challenge on this in such short time, and no wonder why they push this song during live shows outside of Japan. The MV and album track got an auto-tune effect for artistic reasons but just like you saw live is when SuMetal voice really shine without those effects and the girls with the badass dancing. This one is a live compilation of Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 along with 10 BABYMETAL Years Budokan 2021 to curve those copyright blocked. My recommendation to understand how and why they reached this level and era is to stick with 1st and 2nd album songs. Songs like: Megitsune, Catch Me If You Can, Ijime Dame Zettai, Road Of Resistance, Karate and many more like SuMetal solos and Black Babymetal songs are a must before reaching Metal Galaxy 3rd album. You can find "Catch Me If You Can" safe to react version at GuilhermeCait. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time with more BM songs.🦊🤘🔥

This is definitely intended to be a rap song. Su talked about learning to rap for it in an interview and mentioned the challenge of "having to find her flow".

⚡ 💕 / 🕶 🎤 🍗 They've had rap metal influences in previous songs, but this one takes it to a new level. The song title probably stands for "BABY METAL Cypher", or "BABYMETAL Metal Cypher". They say "Tekina Metaru Saifa" (Metal Cypher-like) several times in the song. Until there is official confirmation, I'm still going with "Bring Moa Chicken". In an interview in the Japanese magazine PMC, this was literally the first question: Q1: How’re you feeling now? Moa: Hungry! I need fried chickens.

Very fun watching you jump down the Fox Hole. 🤘🦊🤘 One of my favorite outfits they wore was around their Wembley show. Mostly black with a little red trim. Very sleek but powerful looking. And still cute.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。So you undersand BM do not hesitate to incoroprate anything good into their own music. Rapping and spitting was the target in this song. Cheap or fake copy was not what they wanted to do and their goal should have been something acceptable to young American people like you even if Su sings it in Japanese. Judging from your reaction, I believe they were succesful 😁
