Never forget that Herman was one of the first Western artists to give BABYMETAL a chance by helping them with Road Of Resistance. Love the shirt, and thanks for the constant positivity for them over the years

@@Troy1399 Herman and Oli were definitely critical in helping get the girls cred in the West -- so were Rob Zombie and of course Rob Halford -- but the _very_ first Westerner who saw Babymetal's potential was Marty Friedman, who lives in Japan and met the girls waaay back in late-2011. He's also hyped up other Japanese girl-groups that go against the grain. Still, I love Oli's rant at SummerSonic about how much he loves BM.

Yes, it's taken me a few listens to get into it. I hope the guitars are pushed a bit more forward in live performance and maybe on the CD as well. It is certainly encouraging for the new album. What I really hope for is more from Moa and no masks on the Kamis.

Divine Attack gives me Starlight vibes because of Su's vocals, the meaning of the song is similar to Road of Resistance, and that quiet part that sounds like its going to become a guitar solo, but doesn't, always reminds me of Distortion.

Great to see Herman supporting our girls again ! I think because Babymetal uses Road of Resistance as their closing song almost every time. And I agree, it might very well be a bit of a warm up song. It's gonna be a concept album, so that's interesting.

I agree - this is definitely the warm-up song for the album. Very much like Distortion, the first release from Metal Galaxy - straightforward song structure, big sweeping chorus with a catchy hook - a good setlist song for festivals and to grab interest from a wider audience with a more mainstream sound. They've got a plan, for sure.

It's so cool to see you following their progress and supporting them. I think the song is amazing and Su-Metal has for the first (?) time written the lyrics. I think the lyrical flow was one of the highlights, so she's off to a good start. I wish it was a little longer though, with a solo or another verse after the quiet DnB part. But still, it was an immaculate first release and they are surely saving the best songs for later, like you mentioned. Can't wait to see them in April.

As you said after hearing it a couple times it grows on you I remember thinking the same thing when listening to Metal Galaxy, even when the song isn't an instant hit it grows on you until you love it.

I appreciate your reaction to this video. You are the man who have supported BABYMETAL in their early stage like a mentor or a guardian angel. And the fans are looking forward to new collaboration between DF and BM. As you commented, this is just an appetizer. I reconfirmed the purity of Su's voice even after some maturity. Moa's velvety but powerful voice in the back sounds great, too. But we all know this song is just one of their various faces that we are going to witness from now on. 🐎💥🐎 That's a beautiful guitar. I love those blue/green tones. The lyrics for 'Divine Attack - Shingeki' seem very reminiscent of 'Road of Resistance', although from Su's more mature perspective. I've watched the clip from the Golden Gods Awards in 2015 many times. Everyone looks like they were having a lot of fun.

I also had the thought that they didn´t gave us the big bang to announce the album. I am looking forward to the other songs and the album. Also, i listened to this song the second time now and i got goosebumps. The first listen to is just to get you hooked and it pulls you in probably more and more the more often you listen to it.

Saw a pretty great interview recently from Korn's Production manager. He spoke about Babymetal & how they suprised them on stage once performing together. It was a rare behind the scenes Metal moment. You don't always hear or see on the outside. Herman is somone who i put more stock in his observations.
