It rained so hard at Download 2016. Their set was delayed for 40 minutes while water was swept off the stage (there is a photo of their producer out there with a broom) and while the equipment was covered with plastic covers. The rain didn't put them off, they did all their choreo even though the stage was still wet and slippery - and the crowd all stayed to see them. BABYMETAL call the UK their second home, but they have a lot of fans all around the world. More Japanese bands are becoming known and popular outside of Japan now and a lot of that is down to what BABYMETAL have done since 2014 with their tours and getting people wondering if there are more great bands like them.

Babymetal have lots of fans around the world. Not only UK. Their album was on 13th place in charts US/EU. Which is highest achieve for asian artists. Nobody ranked so high before.

We love Babymetal in the United States too. People all over the world are fans. The UK does hold a special place in Babymetal's hearts though, which makes me a little jealous. Haha 😅

@@rickwagner- but Su did say something along the lines of Brixton 2019 show was special moment of that year so i hold onto that .Although they did push the boat out for the Forum show which i thought was awesome show and the fans give great responce you would of thought it was in Japan ( or UK 🤣) 🤘🦊🤘

There was so much rain, it was nicknamed DROWNload. 😄 Of course, the forces of nature only served to make the performance even more powerful.

Nice reaction. This was the great drown load experience of 2016. Babymetal has fans all over the world. Folks want an experience they'll remember when they go to a concert or a festival in this case. But I think most folks could do without the down pour of rain that happened that year. Here you got to see that the festival shows are not like the big Legendary concerts they have done mostly in Japan. And Babymetal still puts on a great show. It's hard to imagine that when they started out you could have gotten to see them for free in the mall. Next time you hear about someone performing in the mall you may want to pay more attention to them. It may be the only time you see them for free.

Good reactions👊🏽⚡️I love this performance. It shows how natural Su, Moa, and Yui are on stage. The rain was a non issue for the band. Obviously they were taking to heart the messages in many of their songs to persevere and go forward.
