This is Live concert "Shin Shiyun Kitsune Matsuri" New Year Kitsune Festival at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) in January 10, 2015. The audiences were 20,000 people. Su-metal was 17 years old, Yuimetal and Moametal was 15.5 years old at that time.

"...feel sorry for their dads because their daughters are more metal..." is both most funniest and unexpectedly profound thing I've heard said in a BabyMetal reaction video, and I've seen lots, too many. You sir, are by far one of the few who "got" BabyMetal instantly. No WTF moments. No asking for explanations. No making cringy faces at high pitched vocals. Gimme Chocolate was also my first song and I was instantly a fan of BabyMetal for exactly what they do and who they are. No explanation or comparison necessary. Always more BabyMetal forever! :)

what you saw in the video is a medium size WoD , the biggest WoD captured in the video is at MetRock 2015 and it happen during song of Road Of Resistance and Ijime, Dame Zettai. like other suggested BABYMETAL - Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014 is when Babymetal wins over 60K+ metalheads in 30 minutes , it's one Epic morning day in Babymetal history.

I'm 58, had never heard of Babymetal until their Glastonbury performance back in June 19, had thought my most exciting Metal moment had been seeing Sabbath in 76, now more excited than I was as a teenager to have tickets for their Cardiff show in Feb 2020. I think I swallowed the blue pill within 5 minutes of seeing and hearing Babymetal and am now on a regular daily dose until I get to see them live, when I expect both my heart and my brain to explode with joy! Great reactions, man. Love knowing it's everybody who gets WTF moments when taking in their first few BM vids. PS Don't worry about smiling through their music as well as headbanging - they have that effect with the mixture of joyous enthusiasm and energy they and the Kami Band push out. SuMetal has an amazing stage presence and incredible, powerful voice that never misses a beat even whyen she's dancing like crazy and Moa and Yui are as tightly choreographed as it's possible to be. They all seem to love ordering 50,000 Metal fans to start circling in the pit and to shout out the band name at the end of every concert - the power of The Queen of Metal! Hell, I'm happy to bend the knee!

Great to see you are enjoying it ! :-) Babymetal is not bound to just one sub-genre of metal, they are doing all the subgenres and even inventing some of their own. LOL Some metal fans in the past might have complained about how Gimme Choco is just some flash in pan it's just some pop singers fronting a metal band. But this shows much more what Babymetal is capable of. Many could dismiss Babymetal based on Gimme Choco, but not Road of Resistance or the live performances they do at metal and rock festivals. An other commenter already suggested Sonisphere, 2014. Ijime, Dame, Zettai is the last song in the set they did. The popularity (attention) of Gimme Choco made the festival move them from a small stage to the first band on the mainstage. Lots of metal fans of Iron Maiden, Antrax, etc. came to see them, many were probably their to see what they are capable of and maybe even hoping for them to fail. Please react !

Second song and you are already deep in the fox hole. Su the lead singer was 17 at this time. She has so awesome of a stage presence. Yes there were and are a lot of haters for Babymetal. Many think metal should be a certain way and Babymetal turns all stereotyoes up on its ears. Yes Babymetal is a show. Every song is different. No two are alike. After you get past the WTF, you realize they are really very good. Su is one of the best front person, male or female, for a band. They have the best musicians Japan has to offer. And yes the best choreographer, she is the top in Japan and she is doing all the stuff for the Olympics next year in Japan. The production to a Babymetal show is top notch. Wait til you see some from tokyo dome tokyo where they sold out two nights in row, 55,000 people each night and didnt repeat a song. Epic. My recommendation to you is Karate from Download UK 2016. The best live version of this song Karate. And you will find Babymetal fans are all ages, male and female, many countries. They are fun metal. You cant watch a Babymetal video and not feel happy. That also is why haters hate because to them metal cant be fun. Their pits are fun not angry. Keep it coming. Any song you choose it will not disappoint you. We, the fans, will help on your journey.

It's not a coincidence that it sounds like Dragonforce... they helped with the instrumentals, this song is a collaboration between them and BM.

You are going to find that every song they make draws from a different influence, either from one of the plethora of metal sub-genres or anything from EDM, Dubstep, to Swing and Rap. As we said before, every song is different ... and if you want to know how much more metal than ALL of us these 3 young ladies really are you need to see 'BABYMETAL Death' (legend 1997 complete) ...watch that then ponder how you celebrated your 16th birthday. You are absolutely right about Su-metal's stage presence, if she wants a wall of death she just needs a gesture, if she wants to see a big circle the crowd obeys. She commands the frog pit and throws flaming balls of fire (don't worry, you'll find out what that means eventually). Yes BABYMETAL did get a lot of hate early on from "metal elitists" who think it is only 'trve metal' if the band made a lot of noise in a garage, the 'singer' can only scream or growl and they have to be angry at everything. They saw Gimme Chocolate, switched it off as soon as Yui and Moa started their "atatatatatatata zukyun" and dismissed it as a gimmick that wouldn't last 6 months, distorted guitars with chipmunk voices over the top and you can't have dancing in metal, therefore not real metal and they seemed to think they were a threat to metal and would destroy the whole genre, so they attacked them in comments on videos at every opportunity. 9 years on and the haters are far less in numbers now - a lot of them have witnessed just how good BABYMETAL are at live festivals and concerts. We still get the odd one or two or toxic fans of other bands jealous of what BABYMETAL have achieved that their favourites can't do. So, more BABYMETAL reactions please - any song (preferably all their songs), but try to find good live versions and avoid compilation videos.

Looking at this amazing set I pondered what a great idea the middle of the crowd platform is. The more i thought about it, i realised this hall has staged many wrestling and mma events in the past...which is where the idea probably came from.

Awesome react! If we open the BM encyclopedia of live video footage, we will surely find each of their tracks there from years 2012 up to last summer. Hey, let me suggest a track from the Black Baby Metal sub-unit which is represented by the two ladies each side; Yui, Moa (YuiMetal and MoaMetal, I'll let you figure out which is which.), song GJ!. There is a live cam mashup floating around with English subtitles. I think it's a great way to introduce the support duo, they have their unique way of attacking subjects. SuMetal the lead also has her own solo tracks, such as No Rain No Rainbow which is famous for making people all emo XD Good luck!

My favorite part, and it’s really short and quick, is how after DESTROYING this venue and being so badass, right at the end as they’re waving to the crowd, Yui does a really girly scamper up the runway! It’s just how they really are!💪🏻🤘🏻

BABYMETAL's lead singer, Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) first appeared at SSA in 2008 as a member of the trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old. Looks like there are some good suggestions for your next BABYMETAL song. The lead singer also has five solo songs, and the two youngest (Yui & Moa) have four songs (as Black BABYMETAL) without Su.

The hatred towards them is not a thing of the past, there are still a lot of Metal elitists who will not have choreographed dancing or smiling girls change the Metal they have known for thirty years. Some of them will probably stop by sooner or later to tell you that this is not Metal. To be honest, I was like that in my teen years. But I'm in my forties now and have evolved. Let's be honest, Metal has become a bit stale and can use some fresh air. Whatever, it's their loss. I have never had as much fun as I'm having with BABYMETAL. As you said, this sounds very different from Gimme Chocolate, and you'll keep coming across new surprises when you further explore their catalogue. They call their music "Kawaii Metal" (kawaii means cute), and some of their music is more on the "pure" Metal side (like this one), while other songs are more on the kawaii side (like GC). In addition to that, they incorporate various other genres along the way, you'll find some EDM, Reggae, Ska, Hip Hop, Dubstep as well. It's a miracle how they make all of that work, but they do. Unfortunately, many of their videos tend to get reaction videos blocked, so in the long run you'll have to resort to some editing or Link&Sync to be able to feature the best videos. The fans will usually have an idea which videos are safe, although at the moment things are getting stricter and stricter. I see you're wearing a Metallica shirt. I went to see them this summer in Brussels and it was legendary as expected. Did you know that Metallica and Babymetal had already met ? There's a very close connection between the bands. When asked in interviews about which metal band the girls love the most they will always say Metallica. They discovered Metal along the way and Metallica played a huge part in their love for metal music. Also, further down the line you will inevitably react to BABYMETAL - DEATH (live LEGEND 1997). When you do, if you think the intro resembles "One" from Metallica, it is not a coincidence, it's a nod to Metallica. And the virgin mary statue in that concert is an homage to Metallica when the statue falls off the stage. I just wanted to make a heads up and make sure you don't wonder about such "coincidences". Babymetal rarely do coincidences ;).
