I adore this song!!!! Honestly my current favorite debut MV!

The best thing to describe it is "perfectly balanced". They consider all the aspects to match up not just with concept as baby & monster but also with their age. I know most ppl says it reminded them from other YG groups or even same formula, but I guess that's the intention and strategy of this song, i would consider this as a great introduction for them as a new member of YG fam. You felt that familiar vibe yet they have that really distinct touch that sets them apart. I can't wait for them to comeback next year and probably the perfect timing for Ahyeon to join in. And I think we will get more BABYMONSTER unique color by then. This is is just the beginning and it's a pefect way to give people the curiosity and hunger to watch out for their next release. Congrats to our girlies! Don't forget to stream 🤟🏻

Gotta keep it real and say : - Rap part was CRAZY ( especially Asa ) - They Ate - Choreo was CLEAN - Chiquita def got IT - Major 2ne1 vibes - MV is great , once again the COLORS, YG knows their sh*t for real - This sounds So YG that it doesn't feel like Babymonster, it feels like YG - Chorus is ...boring to say the least - Vocals were good as expected but not impressive - Underwhelming (consdering how talented the girls are and how hyped they've been - 7/10 ( and honestly 4 of those points go for the rap part ) - Good thing this is a debut because that means there is much room for evolution. - Even tho this is mostly a miss for me, will def still support them because these girls are extremely talented and deserve support and respect.

BABYMONSTER is paying Tribute to other YG Groups that's why it looks like a Blackpink MV because they are referencing different Scenes/Sets from BP MV's (Rami's Bias in BP is Rosé so she referenced a Scene out of Rosé's Gone MV for example) or Ruka's Outfit with the Fur Coat is a Reference to G-DRAGON (Bad Boy Era) the Yellow Speakers are a Reference to Boombayah from BP and the Monster Truck is a Reference to Pink Venom And the Group Dance Scene with the Outdoor Scenery (i'm Not 100% Sure) could be a Reference to TAEYANG's Ringa Linga The Yellow School Bus a Reference to Playing with Fire and some other BP MV's The Dance in the Final Chorus where they stand in a Line and Kick their Feet Towards the Camera is a Reference to Treasure's Jikjin So it's not a Copy they are just paying Tribute to their Senior Groups just like the other Groups Did before BABYMONSTER in YG...

I have heard some criticism that this song sounds "too YG", and I definitely hear the YG sound all through this, especially the outro is very 2NE1. But it is a sound that has produced some of the biggest hits in the world and you can hear the evolution of it in this song. I think it is a hit and I can't wait to see the dance performance and a live stage for it. I hope they hit us with more tracks soon

This is one group where most of us have a hard time labeling anyone the main rapper or main vocalist or even main dancer because so many of these girls are absolutely mind blowingly talented. Chiquitas vocals have come a long way here 😮 absolutely smashed it! The rap was fire 🔥 ruka, asa and chiquita the dance line.,,,they killed it. I liked the song, simple instrumental and chorus but the girls have such good vocals and rap that they made it good, I miss Ahyeon so much tho, I hope yg isn't lying this time and she's back in 2024

Honestly the delay is understandable in hindsight... Majority of delay's are but a few only are understood. Plus YG doesn't throw anyone's under the bus just to look good. They rather take the blaming and hate. The members have been preparing for more than a year( the survival was recovered early last year). 7 is the formation... that was what they trained to perfection. Ahyeon controversy broke out and then she went silent. I think they were done practesing, probpbly3filmed mv....and ready to debute... but the situation with Ahyeon changed things. New choreo and rerecording had to be done... dont forget the mv! Anyone that knows yg knows he is a perfectionist. A year of drilling went doen the drain. Delay was necessary.

Personally, the song is good, but I expected more. It seems like YG plays it VERY safe with the debut, it is just another classic YG song. To me, it honestly feels like a continuation from the other YG groups. I feel like the groups in YG don't really develop a personal style with their discography. This song could easily go to either BP, treasure or even a modern 2NE1 comeback and it would fit. I'd like for them to develop more of a musical identity. HYBE and JYP do this amazing imo, and you can easily distinguish a LESSERAFIM song from a New Jeans song, just like you can distinguish an Itzy song from a NMIXX song.

To be honest, I had no trust in YG when they announced Baemon and my fear came true. I'm not feeling this debut at all. Maybe it will grow on me, but at the moment it just screams "Blackpink 2.0: Kids Edition" to me.

Idk their debut was totally cut & paste Blackpink sound, fits and concept like YG didnt even try. With the crazy talent they have you would think they would have done something more original creating their own lane.

I am going to say something MAYBE controversial, but this debut was extremely underwhelming and disappointing. NOW this is no fault of the girls, thei did their job and sang, danced and rapped LOL but YG is really setting this group up for failure by giving them a blackpink reject song. Between Blackpink, then Treasure and now Babymonster, the typical YG formula has run DRY and needs to be rejuvenated and tweaked or else i don't think babymonster has any chance at thriving. obviously they're a YG group so they will do decently well regardless, but they will not stand out amongst all the talented strong groups of 4th/5th gen if they keep putting out less than mediocre music.

HONEST REVIEW: It's an explosive song BUT a very typical YG song that was overly done by BlackPink before. It's like a mashup of Ddu Du Ddu Du, Let's Kill This Love and How you like that. Same formula and nothing new. Even the chorus is an all out copy. A simple one liner chorus all the time. A copy from the tone and overall build up. Bit disappointed. When 2ne1 debuted they introduced a new sound and genre. When Blackpink debuted, they introduced a new sound. Babymonster didn't do it. YG is just like creating a BlackPink junior group. If you're a keen and Kpop follower you'll knew what I mean. Looking forward for a better song in the comeback and not some generic one. Congratulations still on your debut. Just really felt sad Ahyeon is not gonna be part of the group anymore.

for a debut song this is too generic. songs like this are good but there are few of them a year. its just not suitable for debut and leave their own mark and style to remember them by average citizens who are not that into kpop.

Unfortunately its extremely unlikely Ahyeon will return and highly likely she's left. The western media keeps the hope alive but in Korean media its been a circulating news for a while with more detailed speculation. Also it is just peculiar for a group to debut without a member. This is more like a classic "cover up the missing member news with a debut and see the reaction" kind of operation. The more the 6 member group is successful, the more it probably solidifies she's left.
