It's a very solid 8.5/10 song. People complain it sounds too YG, but that's what makes YG stand out. YG are the only company that go for a hip hop vibe with their groups, which brings a much needed balance in kpop, especially for girl groups.

Baby monster also broke records for a debut within 24 hrs. 22 million views within 24 hr mark. This song received some criticism for a debut song, heeyyy broo YG said its a song that describes each member's abilities and symbolizes what music they will take in the future (is hip hop+DNA YG) YG certainly knows this song is not easy to accept, but it seems like YG wants to convey what genre Babymonster will bring in the future and what the abilities of each member are. That's why they only debuted with one song unlike their seniors, I think if ahyeon returns they will cameback with album

lemme just share that my bias is Chiquita BUT I couldn't recognize her face. And while watching the MV, the brown haired girl expressions really got me, so I asked for her name while giving the time stamps in the comment section of their MV, and gosh they said that was Chiquita. Sheesh she looks different. Anyways, she really stands out with her facial expressions even without me knowing that's her.

After I discovered what was missing from this debut song, that Teddy Park wasn’t involved in anything with BaeMon. Then, I started to realize why only Big Bang, 2ne1 & Blackpink from YGE made a big impact in the k-pop industry. That makes sense to me now, why YGE needed a touch from Teddy Park team. It's not about the YG formula, but it's Teddy's team magic.

To be brutally honest the song in my opinion could have been better. The song felt similar to a blackpink and 2nd generation kpop song and just didnt have its own sound with its own unique style and sound, but I know its not the girls fault and YG is responsible for creating this song and lyrics for them. I do hope their future songs will uniquely suit Babymonster as the first 5th generation kpop group under YG sooner or later! Thankyou for yalls reactions!!😘

Hello everyone that hate/don't like it ,first of all ,if you think it is same like some other songs from YG ,you should know first why it is call "YG Family"for reason,of course it is have same vibe cause they have same "YG DNA",whatever you are keep talking about ,they keep slaying hard with their performance and attitude.You can talk everything but they are gonna fly high as high they can. P/S:ONLY true/OG YG fan/family from first generation can truly feel it .Some new fan should know their boundaries when their thinking while write .
