He actually did it perfectly. YG does everything for a reason. He first stated what the agency and him as wanted. He was clear from the start 5 members only. That's business talking. He then showed us that he considers us fans a part of YG family and by that drawing us closer to YG and BABYMONSTER. His decision is not cut throat like many other agencies decision makers are by taking the time to see it all from a business and sentimental perspective. He allowed us to see what he struggled with, why he picked 5 the menbers and plans for the other two. Its freaking rare to see YG as a open up and explain his thought process. Let's respect and cherish this. He included us when he doesn't need to, he sees his as important while majority called him names and stuff. My respect for YG is super high.

I honestly thought that not a lot of people are tuning in for BABYMONSTER, last night I thought ah it’s gonna have 30-40k live video max. The way my jaw dropped when it hit 450k live viewers. It’s so nice to see people supporting them. A new era ❤

As I was saying from the start Babymonster is always going to be a 7 member group.... This was all genius business stunt by YHS. First he made us emotionally connected with the girls from "introducing videos" and then by conducting the last evaluation he made it seem like he was never going to debut 7 members but all he was doing was making us fans more emotionally connected with BabyMonsters. To finish the master plan, he made it seem like "we" fans formed the Final Babymons7er group, making us feel even more involved in group activity. By doing this all, YHS already ensured that Babymonster will have a huge "loyal" fanbase even before their debut.... What a mastermind he is, I guess that's why they say "who's the clan with the master plan, YG Baby".

yeah.. I have the same feelings & doubt over the 2wks.. I kept watching their last episode many times to get some clues on the final number. If it is 5, who will be left out? I thought Chiquita & Rora are going out because of their comments at the end of the video.. Chiquita said, "Fighting unnies!" and Rora said, "Love you all!" while holding back their tears.. dame.. I was slowly accepting that it is going to be 5, ommiting the 2 youngest members probably landed with another group or going solo in future, or even join another agency.. Many thoughts came to mind but deep in my heart, I hope these monsters are together so that we can all witness how they slay the current 4th generation gg.. 🤣 After this video, I am relieved and feel complete now that things should happen what they are supposed to.. debut as babymons7er!

So Glad it is all 7. Which is weird, because when I first heard YG was doing a new GG after Blackpink, I was thinking a small group of like 4 or 5 is great because like with BP, you can distribute parts fairly and yet keep the song identifiable with a smaller group and each Bias could be satisfied. Honestly I have trouble with the other groups that are 7 and up, because the part distribution is so sparse and I wonder how they can give each member meaningful screen and vocal time with 7. Scars to Your Beautiful was a great mix of them all, but it left me wanting more for my favorites. Maybe the mentioned subgroup thing will aid each bias group. Hope it will be all fair groups like SNSD and Twice, and even IVE with 6 all ended up with one or two members that got all the attention. Please let them all shine and succeed! OT7!!!

But from the subtitles it sounds to me at least that the plan is to debut Babymons7er somewhere in between the fall and Winter…He thinks fall is too soon but maybe if they push things Winter could be doable but winter bleeds into next year too. Next year will b 4th gen 5th gen isn’t going to come until you feel that big gap in between the groups and when the average age in the group has shifted Most 4th gen groups are 2000s baby’s Baby monster age average is still in the 2000s After the average in groups are in 2010s then I would definitely say 5th is starting
