@@losmit2194 I been in the Street ridding a motorbike, in the Street smell like Baccarat 540, but i dont see anybody. Like 50 meters straight before a little curve i see a girl so nice dresses and the smell go in advance. I just stop to know if she wear the extrait or the parfum, she tell me it is the parfum. Man, the projection is beast, i just smell 50 meters BEFORE i see that girl. Right know i need to try it on my skin.

Baccarat Rouge 540 is truly a masterpiece. When I first smelled it I was truly blown away and I absolutely love it. Like you mentioned every time I get a whiff of it I smell a different nuance of the fragrance. It is like a masterful dance on my skin. It’s so intriguing how that happens.

EDP has a very medicinal note to it which is quite off putting. After months of debating i eventually purchased the extrait as it doesn’t seem to have this feature. No regrets.. absolutely stunning and worth every penny 🤩

@@DBZGazettE52same I own both and like you said the medicinal smell does go away pretty quickly. It’s so good after that. I save my extrait for more special occasions cause I only have the 70ml for it. I use the edp quite often since I have the 200ml. I feel that the edp might project more but the extrait is heavier, lasts longer, but sits closer to the skin. Extrait still has unbelievable sillage and projection tho

I circled back to this video after I traced back the characteristics of the Electimuss London Trajan which I just received. It was a blind buy and a minute after spraying, I don’t smell anything. After linking some similarities between BR540 and the EL Trajan, I figured that the DNA is similar. Thanks for a great video.

It’s Creed Aventus’s God. It’s brilliant! Gosh man, I will uses 5-6 sprays 30 seconds before I clock into work. I have extrait but I’m getting the EDP too. My lady is nuts about the Aqua line too, Celestia Forte and Universalis are her favorites and I enjoy them too. BR540X is mine though.

I used to prefer the extract but have fallen deeply in love with the original. This thing is just pure magic in the air--smelling it on others is what made me a believer. A hypnotic brown sugar cotton candy. Scent trail is absolutely unmatched.

Dude, this scent is Fantastic!! I agree with what you said, so I wear them both, the Extrait fills in the gaps of the EDP...I definitely go nose-blind with this, but I think that's an intentional part of the formulation. When you wear them both, it is complete...BR540 smell so good...definitely 'fancy Band-Aids' smell if it has to smell like one thing.

BR540 is a piece of art. As you say, linear, but my oh my, does it smell different and amazing. I just bought the EDP and Oud extrait. Looking forward to getting Them. Scentsei very interesting that you say the EDP lasts longer on you. I’ve been hearing the same thing (constantly) from other reviewers and people, in general. I just ordered the EDP yesterday, but I’m still very interested to hear what others have to say about performance with the EDP. I guess I want to feel like I made the right decision. Lol. I’m in the position to buy one or the other...so for me...it boiled down to which one performs the best. That’s why I went with the EDP. Thank you for your input.

I love the Baccarat Rouge EDP so much that I also got the Extrait version and the hair mist. The dry down, I still like the EDP more. I don't know, I just love linear fragrances.

@@mireya762002 yeah, but I couldn't tell a big difference. I prefer the EDP though. It's more playful while the extrait version is more grown-up. Wearing them at the same time is just a waste of perfume. When my Extrait is empty, I'll just by the EDP. The hair perfume doesn't really smell like the perfume. It smells sort of harsh. I don't think I'd buy it when I run out. For Baccarat Rouge 540, you don't need to layer it. The EDP takes over everything.

@@mireya762002 girl, no problem. This is a perfume like no other. I also bought the dupes, such as Cloud but they can't compete. You might not like how it smells on the first time but after a few time you wear it, you'll love it. You'll get anosmic due to the ambergris in it but everyone around you will smell you. And you'll get compliments left right and center.

Awesome review, exactly what I needed to know. My Fiance loves this perfume and didn't know the difference between them. I'm starting to love it too, I was planning on getting it for her but now I'm thinking of getting one for myself too. What would you recommend, should I get a large bottle for the both of us? I have a serious case, my friend recently bought this Extrait version , she had it used but surprisingly she said only can smells only max 2 hour then she had to reapply it , again and again , and she’s make a big fussed of it saying it’s a fake perfume . But I tried it, I found that ..: it’s works so well on me , I can still smell on my wrist after 2 hour , even people around me smell it. And I love it , I just don’t understand why she disputes the perfume ... and unhappy about it ... I even leaves a trails and people around me can still smell it even after couple hours... this is really ghost formulation! Strange but magic!

Hello...., I'm not subscribed to your channel but watched this video some days ago and was looking to buy one version of baccarat rouge so I decided to try the store you suggested. Twisted Lilly. I gotta say it's one the worst online shopping experiences I've ever had. Maybe 2 or 3 years ago the store was better but now it's pretty bad. So I bought the original baccarat rouge and it took 2 days before I heard anything from them and then said would take 2 weeks just to process the order but before they could process the order I had to verify the payment method by proving I was the owner of the card I used for payment. I decided to do that and I get an email saying it'll take two days before I get a reply. Keep in mind the baccarat is already paid for.

Yes...I would like that almond note that the extrait has, but the performance is more important to me...especially at the price these both are going for. Lol. @@solomonKachi7000WOW…what a coincidence that you asked because I wore the extrait to a wedding reception today. Sprayed it on at 5:30pm and i’m still smelling it VERY STRONGLY as i type this!!! My experience with the EDP and extrait is INCREDIBLE. The extrait sits a little heavier because of the almond. I wanted to have them both. I have clones, but they truly can’t compare to having the really thing. The only clone that comes close (IMO) is Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!!

I think im one of the people who struggle with performance. The edp on me disappears. Could be nose blind but ive asked my fiance hours in to having it on and she didn't smell it either. So idk

Use unscented lotion, rub it in to your skin and wait for it to be absorbed, then spray your fragrance and it should sit on top of the lotion and wont be soaked up by your skin so quick.

The sillage is not as strong as chanel. The first 15 minutes is beautiful like champagne and almond cake while watching fireworks. But to my skin, it doesnt last long. Both extrait and edp.

Do you find that the 200 ml bottles are not as potent as the 70ml bottles? I ask because someone noticed a difference with their bottles. They said the 200ml seemed less potent then their 70 ml bottle.

BR540 smell like burnt/smokey tobacco on me. I tried to like it but that burnt smell is such a turnoff 😔

i have got like a present Baccarat Extrait and i am a little bit sad, after 10 min i do not feel it on my skin. And now is winter time, even when i go outside and wear it i also do not feel it on my clothes. Is this normal? the prise is really high. Maybe some of you has the situation like me?

I keep hearing that baccarat rouge 540 smell like Ariana Grande Cloud. Never smelled bacarrat rouge 540. So I can't say if it's true. It'll be nice if you make a comparison. Since you don't do female fragrances I think it'll be cool if you did the comparison. Awesome video as always.

It does smell similar, but nothing Can beat the quality of the real BR540. There is perhaps an even better clone, al haramain amber rouge. Check it out on youtube. ✌🏼

They are very similar but the Rouge smells like moneu, just something about it. I bought both, one for work and the other for outtings ..

Scentsei I have Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge. I LOVE IT. I’ve never smelled BR540, but I bought it yesterday. I wanted to have the real thing...especially since i love the clone. Lol.

I have 3 clones (inspired expressions lol)...so I kept telling myself I don’t need BR540, but I just can’t get pass the fact that I need to have the real thing in my collection. One of the most unique scents I’ve ever smelled is an inspired expression (BR540 clone) by Tiziana Terenzi called Spirito Fiorentino. I HHHHHHATED that scent when I first bought it. It literally smelled like burnt plastic in the opening. It took me a couple weeks to try it again. Once I let it develop on my skin I feel in love with the mid and drydown. To date, it’s EASILY my most complimented fragrance...EVER!!! My other clones (Instant Crush and Amber Oud Rouge) get really good compliments too, but not like Spirito Fiorentino. All that being said, BR540 should far exceed Spirito Fiorentino. We’ll see lol....

I cannot smell either concentration at all, from the get-go. So it's not nose blindness caused by olfactory fatigue. I was in Neiman Marcus yesterday and the attendant sprayed both on card and basically nothing. Everything else before and after I could smell. This is the second time this has happened. I hot a small 1ml sample of Baccarat Rouge for my initial smell of it and nothing. So now I know I am naturally anosmic to it. And scouring the Internet, this evidently is a phenomenon not unique to me concerning Baccarat Rouge 540.

I had the same experience with the extrait yesterday when I wore it for the first time. However, I became attuned to it. I sprayed it on paper, and I honestly had to wonder if it was even authentic. I threw the paper away. About an hour later, I could smell the saffron and sweetness from the covered bin in the next room. I sprayed it on my neck and hair…nothing. The opening must have some kind of numbing effect on people like us. When I left for the day, I had to roll the windows down in my car. Those 2 sprays on my neck nearly suffocated me! From that point on, it only seemed to intensify throughout the day. It got really crazy at hot yoga last night, which was more than 12 hours after I applied it. I woke up a few times in bed and could still catch the saffron. I’ve heard it can take some people days and weeks to become attuned to it. You may want to give it another shot.

I made the experience that i can go partly noseblind to the extrait and fully to the edp from the first spray, if i was wearing for example moonlight from pana dora or most of the anfas parfumes the days before. Probably its the heavy amount of ambrox, or some other synthetic molecule. Little parfume detox could help
