The model is awesome! Absolutely one of the best they’ve done for the Thomas range. We’re all lucky that none of the major online retailers sell them at MSRP lol

Nice video as always. My thoughts as well: Personally, i wouldn't buy it. The only way I would probably say yes to buying it is if i were rich. The model is pretty good and detailed, though. The price is absolutely crazy, $185 is too much. It should be at least slightly cheaper or the same price as than the Gordon bachmann. This is just my opinion. Other than that, bachman is great and you can make your own little version of the TV show that way and have lots of scenery.

I originally wanted to get her Wood model because I do like her West Country class, but her bright paint scheme looks like something that'd be on a race car. I'm not sure how she is in the series as a character, as I think I've only watched through season 21 or so. I think I'd rather just get a regular West Country locomotive if I was going to buy an HO/OO model. I mainly stick to more modern U.S. trains, but I do like the British trains. I don't have the space for a layout. I only have several storage boxes of HO trains packed away.

I agree with the race car comparison, but Sodor has always had colorful engines. It just looks odd on a model/toy train since these bachmann models are meant for a general audience. Modern U.S. trains are cool for sure! Nothing beats a nice union pacific diesel.
