Bachmanns Brighton Atlantic's (H2 class) in photos,cine and on the Layout

5 жыл бұрынA brief compendium of these lovely locomotives in photos from their final BR days, some rare cine footage and finally the Bachmann model of 32424 "Beachy Head" running on my layout (slightly jerky no idea why-sorry !). They were announced by Bachmann in 2013 but finally transitioned in 2018, were they worth the wait ? It has to be a resounding yes although at my age I can't really afford to wait that long ! Anyway hope you enjoy this little tribute put together by me, I have allowed 10 seconds for each photo because there are lots of interesting other things in some of the photo's. All photos and cine are from my personal archive.

Trevose Head working a special in 1957? Was wdn 9.56. Was on stationery boiler duties at Slade Green in 57

Lovely. I also have the BR version and run it with a Maunsell blood and custard four coach set plus a PMV. I was surprised at the sheer weight of the model; detailing is exemplary and is a great, quiet runner.

Interesting pictures, and video London to Brighton Stuart , a nice tribute to this Loco , which after a long wait you have now got on your layout , she seems to run smooth ..... Dave

A lovely strong looking loco. Would look good on my 1947 LMS layout but doubt if they ever traversed to the north west. Nice video.
