Filippo’s mum sounds so sweet. I know he is from Veneto like me and hearing her talk really warmed up my heart and made me smile cause she has the same accent my family has and her voice reminded me so much of my grandma 🥹

❤Good job having dental treatment without anesthesia! A mandibular nerve block always lasts a long time & you are right about not having a nerve anymore if you’ve already had endodontic treatment (root canal). I’m a dentist & I was always taught it school… “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” If your tooth with the amalgam filling (not lead) is still intact and has no leakage around the margins, it’s fine to leave it. It may be unaesthetic, but it is still a good restoration & you don’t want to traumatize the tooth just to remove a good filling because it isn’t esthetic. Happy Holidays Tamara! Thank you for taking us on this Vlogmas journey. I’ve been watching your Vlogmas for years & I can only imagine just how much work it is😊.

Kao student stomatologije, kazem ti da ne menjas amalgam ako je sve u redu. Dobro uradjen amalgam moze da traje cak 30 godina, dok je kompozit materijal cija je najveca mana polimerizaciona kontrakcija i stvaranje mikro pukotina. Zato oni traju 5-6 godina nepromenjeni.

When cleaning your ring in the ultrasonic machine, you can add a drop of dishwashing liquid and it assists in removing the oils and dirt from the stone. It makes a difference! Try it next time 💚 as always love hunter

I changed all 4 of my silver fillings to white ones & have had so many problems with them. They’ve had to refilled 2-3 times & I did that 8 years ago. My silver ones lasted over 20yrs

Love when you show as around Milan is so chill and cozy, I loved the story about the students at the cafes I was a student myself not a long ago so I understand. Tamara you are so smart and courageous to have your dental procedure without the anesthesia block. I also so dislike the lower facial numbness with having the block …. it is as uncomfortable as the reason for needing it. Bravo 👏 to you and continued dental success on your treatments!

I had my metal fillings replaced. Two thoughts: One, they slowly leech mercury poisoning into your bloodstream. Second, if you do decide to have them taken out - ask your dentist how he goes about it, because there is a danger of the mercury breaking off and harming you. ❤😊

Yay I needed this right now I had some time and now I get to watch my favorite person 😊 I have to tell you once my daughter and I went to Disney in Florida and my husband really wanted me to bring back this Lego thing for him ok cut to me and my daughter lugging a 3000 piece batman cave box with layovers 😂 lol I got huge brownie points for that one!! 😁❤️But yes we got it on the plane ok it's just the carrying it xxx I am just so glad you got to see your family and spend time with your sister and just relax it's always good to have that family time ❤❤❤

As a dentist myself specialising in esthetic dentistry please don’t change the amalgam filling on the upper tooth For many reasons it’s the best decision to leave it as it is

Loving vlogmas. I’m old enough to be your mother, but do not understand that I’ve even grown up 🤭🤣 I live on the beach, with a massive mortgage 🫤 I so no spare money for fun or fashion at the moment. My eyeshadow palette is more than 10 years old 😬 and I am the complete opposite of you (but there’s an inner me that’s you) I’m having so much joy living vicariously through you at the moment. Oh noo sorry they did your filling without numbing. I happen to be a dentist. Regarding the amalgam filling you are worried about changing. It's ok I change them out all the time for my patients. Those restorations expand and tend to leak so it's not a bad idea to change it. Plus for esthetics its not a bad idea.

I am an avid watcher of your vlogs - love them ❤ I too went to the dentist yesterday and need three or four filings and I want to try without the needles as I hate them. How did you feel without it and was it a bottom or top filling? As I’ve heard bottom is the worst top not too bad.

I enjoyed your time with your Italian family because it’s like me with mine. However, here in Ticino my husband’s family speaks dialect which is harder to understand then normal Italian. Do you feel strange speaking English walking around Milano?

Amalgam fillings are the worse for you. They may last longer but composite is a better alternative.
