Hi Clair, I loved your painting on Cartridge paper. I have some Cartridge paper too and agree thoroughly about cost and smoothness. Mine is 220gsm Seawhites brand. I hope you don't mind a few questions :) : 1). You don't appear to ever gesso your paper; do you not find that this paper warps a bit (does not remain flat) after painting? 2). Do you use a fixative on your works on paper after using Neocolor II? If so, what do you use please? I'm pretty sure Neocolor II will smudge without fixative. 3). Have you ever tried Bristol board/paper? I love that too! & it's a lot cheaper than quality watercolour paper.

Hi Clair, do you get Strathmore paper in Australia? The have a really good mixed media paper that is a lot less expensive than good water color paper and is nice and heavy and sturdy.
