BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN...

It’s great to be back on the road again. This trip we set off to explore the beautiful Elan Valley in Wales. Join us for a couple of nights of off grid camping as we enjoy a pub stop and an evening in the pretty town of Builth Wells. As we head further north we learn the creepy local legend behind Devils Bridge.
Our family have been roaming around the UK, Europe and US since 2007. We set off on each trip with only a rough destination in mind, allowing the roads we take and places we stop to evolve as we meet new friends along the way.

Both you and John & Tash were the first we started following on YT in the vanlife community. Watching your adventures inspired us to buy a MH. During lockdown we watched Jason The Motorhome Man to get a feel for layouts. It took a couple of years for things to align until we were in a position to buy one. We saw a MH Jason put on KZfaq that was perfect for us. When we got there we spotted John so we HAD to talk to him. He showed us round a few vans and we bought the one we’d seen. John did all the PDI on our van and Jason did our handover. So that was a double ✅✅ for us 🤩 We now follow a lot of others, some of which we’ve seen on your vlogs; Daz, John & Mandy, Liam, Chris & Marianne, Lou & Emily to name a few so thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to come to any of the vanlife festivals this year that you’ve attended as birthdays or work has prevented us so we haven’t been able to meet you yet but we will, one day and we’ll make sure we come and say hi. E&P legs got us out of trouble a few weeks back. Our driving wheels were on a hard but wet surface however, the rear wheels sunk a bit into a grassed area and due to the significant weight transference, the front tyres couldn't grip to pull our MH out of the field. We raised all 4 wheels by placing short wooden planks under the jacks. We then lowered all 4 wheels on to scaffolding boards. Our MH was then level again and the FWD pulled us safely out of the field. LSD would also have helped significantly, so we're researching to see if there's an aftermarket upgrade ie Quaife .

So glad you got to see Devils bridge too whilst you were in the area. Elan valley is just incredible. We’ve spent the week in North Wales as we are from the South. North Wales has some incredible places too. Thanks for sharing

Great video Steve and lyndsay it was so nice to see the cow and calf again at ilkley how I miss the Yorkshire dales thats not bad £3 a day the visitors centre looked good at the dam devil's Bridge looked good not bad for parking there thank you for showing us

Thanks for the memories! We drove the Devil’s Bridge road a few years ago in our little T4. Yours was a big bus for the road 😱 The drone footage on the dam was awesome! Slaw even sat up at that point 😂 Glad to see you back on the road again 🚍☀️

Passed by Devils Bridge many times on way to Debz brothers house in South Wales, however we never ever have been in, will have to change next time we are in the area. Nice of Jason to let you clean the motorhome as well 🙂 Great video as always guys, all the best Trev Debz and Tyler

One of my favourite motorcycle routes, a shame you didn’t sure more of the dans up the valley & the old mines on the way to Aber, but still a great vid that gives a taster of what the area has to offer.
