This 30 minute gentle yoga class is designed specifically for anyone suffering from back pain, sciatica pain, or lower body soreness. With a gentle increase of movement, yoga postures, therapeutic strength exercises we will be gently stimulating the back muscles, stretching the glutes and hamstrings and giving our body an opportunity to move with care. This yoga class for back pain is also great for anyone suffering from bulging disks or disk herniation.
Its very important that you listen to your body and if your body responds well to these types of exercises include them into your life everyday. The glutei stretches are great for loosing up the muscles in case your nerve is pinched in that area. The back exercises which include in gentle extensions are great for anyone suffering from disk herniation or bulging disks. Try to do these everyday to strengthen the muscles around the spine, however avoid rounding out the spine and perhaps even skip the child pose if you do suffer from disk injuries.With daily commitment, with time you will begin to feel an improvement in your back and nerve pain.
During this yoga class for all levels, you will allow your mind and body to connect deeper inward, letting go of any worries or stressful thoughts and truly giving your mind and body the gift of mindful movement, stillness, and healing. Enjoy and breathe.

Helicopter crash in Afghanistan 8 years ago put me on my yoga journey. Self taught I now teach yoga to service men and women in my unit. But I always come back to this channel to keep my foundation for the practice. Please please don’t stop.

This happened to be too, when I did pigeon pose! I have done yoga on and off for years, but I have never had a relise like this or an experience like that, ever in my life! For years I have been trying to find this video, I never realised I had mild sciatica, even health professionals didn't pick up on it years ago! I never have subscribled to a channel, but I will have to! due to this was the most powerful experience of my life! Thank you!

I could almost not sleep tonight because of the pain and this morning, still exausted and pretty frustrated, I get out of bed and choose to come to my mat. To find some space, to find some release without having big expectations it would be enough. I am feeling SO much better, the pain have calm itself and I was impressed how effective it was. Thanks so much for creating this video. I am a 54 yo surfer and have had back pain for many years exacerbated by a snowboarding accident. I recommend this video to all my surfing friends as I truly believe it helps me heal my pain and improve my lower body flexibility and strength. Surfing requires every part of your body to be flexible and strong and if your back and hips are stiff you really struggle to surf properly. I also love the meditative aspect of the routine. Like surfing it ticks all my boxes. It’s exercise, fun and a little meditative so good for your body and mind.

Just wanted to say as a dancer I've struggled with lower back pain for years and never got proper exercises or advice for how to help heal it and from doing this yoga session once, I can already feel the changes when doing poses like shavasana, thank you so much! this practice is wonderful and will always be coming back to this video to continue healing :)

@@alexandredelbois4157 after I have lost so many kilos with interval cardio ,I got fed up and I did't want more ...so I searched how i can train my body and I decided to follow that channel..in the beggining I felt I could't but I kept on and my mind has already changed...great for those who don't want to spent more time on training and have results ...toned and slim body ..helps you to focus on your target by keeping you calm...go for it...don't even think about it...!!!!

I have been injured very many times. When I was 12 I fractured my L5. I've had back pain for 24 years. I have always been super active and just lived with the pain. Two days ago I twisted funny and my lower back was just awful. I did this practice yesterday. Starting, I was very stiff. At the end, the difference was amazing. I had much more range of motion, and today there is hardly any pain at all. Thank you, Juliana and Mark!

I used to stop working out my body completely when I used to feel heavy emotion. Thank you for explaining that it is a release of emotion and that it was stored in my body. Personally I feel like it was the right time for those emotions to pass and no longer served me. Your videos have made a difference in such a short period of time, I am on day four of yoga and meditation and already feel much better mentally, physically and spiritually. I cannot thank you enough for this peaceful and healing flow. I am recovering from a difficult episode of low back pain and I have been missing the mat terribly. I hurt my back a couple of days ago. Yesterday I could barely stand up straight and I hurt all day. I tried ibuprofen, excerdrin, Ice, heat, pain cream, essential oils, Lidocaine patch and a muscle relaxer all with no relief. This morning I watched and did this yoga practice, praying it would give me some relief and It DID, it helped.. tremendously! I am 90% better! Thank you!

I have been searching for mental stability after my mental breakdown. I needed something mild and tone building, with positivity and breathing techniques. I had a car accident 10 years ago and i ended up with bad whiplash and since then my back and leg muscles have never been right and ive suffered with back pain but this yoga practice has helped me heal my back and I've only been doing it daily for a few months. I can't thank you enough, with this video not only have you helped me heal my back but you have help me restore my quality of life 💜 much love to you you beautiful soul. Namaste.

Thank you so much! The last year has been extremely challenging with regards to my health and I have become very physically weak. I have tried repeatedly to start moving again but keep injuring myself. After throwing out my back again earlier today I found your video. I took your advice and modified each movement so that I did not feel pain and it helped ease my pain over all. I feel like I can breathe again. I look forward to doing more of your videos to assist in my recovery. Thank you for all you do!

I started doing one of your yoga workouts every day, and the change in my body and how I feel is amazing! I had good results already after 1 week and that encouraged me to keep carrying on. And also, I have tried different workouts, fitness styles and this seems to be the most balanced one.

I do your yoga vids most days and recently got hit hard with really acute back pain and a numb leg. I always wondered what you meant about emotional release in some of your practices until today. I burst into tears as I felt my body realise finally after days of tense pain, it just flooded out of me!
