I had a lower back injury when I had a fall and hit my lower back in the Navy on a steel lower door jam. Now 18 yrs later I have been diagnosed with Bilateral Foraminal Stenosis, DDD and a Bulging Disc. I actually have a protruding bulge the size of an orange on my lower back. I have radicular pain so bad I cannot walk right. I feel the Siatica pain in both legs all the way down to my feet. I don't know if these are related but I've had no other trauma to my back other than this. Your video was awesome!! Thanks.

thanks for the feedback. every patient is different in how the symptoms progress over time and how they respond to treatments. You should see a medical provider further evaluation if necessary

I have had back pain off n on since my late teens to early 20s. It start in my tailbone like I was kicked. A chiropractor years ago said child birth had straightened my sacral bones 😳 😐 😕 idk. Over time leaning over to clean like the tub I couldn't handle it the pain would make it hard to stand back up sometimes have to kneel down to straighten up. As time goes on going into late 20s and early 30s lower b.p. worsens but such is life. Then my late 30s my whole back started to hurt and now my hips at times would kill me waking me if I slept on Mt side both hips hurt like I was being squished between bricks , my knees started to hurt too. Finally see an ortho they treated me like I was drug seeking till my doc called them....then all of a sudden one day I was walking n I got a heavy feeling in my pelvic floor and warm then my legs got so heavy my toes dragged till I could sit (abt 5 ft away) then I got a tingling/electric/falling "sleep" sensation floating up my butt. Finally got mri and the ortho kind of snickered and said it didn't look like much I had mild cord compression but I shouldn't be having any of my symptom. I am always having symptoms in my pelvic floor at times I can't seem to urinate "hard" enough. 3 yrs later I go to look at the results....just to read that he didn't even discuss half of it w me and then he also treated me like I was drug seeking. I have spondylothesis and loss of curvature (lumbar) dextro scoliosis there too ...facet arthropathy there too w edema L3-L4: Shallow concentric disc displacement with a left foraminal entrance through foraminal disc extrusion with annular rent abuts and partially effaces the exiting left L3 nerve as it exits the foramen. Mild-moderate left foraminal narrowing. Right neural foramen is mildly narrowed due to facet arthropathy. No spinal canal stenosis. L4-L5: Mild concentric spondylotic disc displacement with bilateral foraminal annular rents which in conjunction with the facet arthropathy abut and partially efface the exiting L4 nerve resulting in mild-moderate bilateral foraminal narrowing, left slightly greater than right. L5-S1: No focal disc herniation or spinal canal stenosis. Neural foramina are patent. Bilateral facet arthropathy. I know it's not serious but I was told none of that n told I couldn't be in the pain I am in. I do have periods that great but some are so bad it hurts to sit stand or walk...I have to trade off and my ribs and knees hurt w it. I can feel them grind when I lay down. I can feel them when they and get "stuck" ....let's not even discuss my hip tilt and my c1-c5 are all wonky and no curvature ....I live w headaches a daily...I just dk what to do any advice would help

I have had same lumbar radiculopathy and nerve damage and hernated disc,,I'm confused is it a disability disease disorder I'm confused I suffer alot with it,especially night times it's crazy,I've had a microdistectomy 15 years back, helped first year or 2,but now it's always pain and struggling to walk, nerve damage is bad too, question I'd like to ask is,is lumbar radiculopathy just same as siatica? I never get a straight answer from no one, please let me no and will this ever go away or is it permanent I've had this daily for over 10 years now

Great overview! Do you find that patients with chronic Rediculopathy, that does not resolve, experience lower amounts of pain as time goes on or the other way around? I think it would be super helpful if there were images provided to give a visual aid to what pathologies are being discussed.
