Alan Blair and Oli Davies fishing for big winter carp at Nash's very own Church Lake ⛪
Join Alan and Oli on a throwback to last February, a time when covid restrictions meant fishing was limited to days only.
Undeterred our duo spend 5 day sessions on our very own Church Lake, a lake containing a multitude of big carp, with around 70 fish present, over 10 x 40lb + and even a few over the magical 50lb mark 🐋
Throughout this film Alan and Oli share a few of their winter carp fishing tips to help you make the most of your cold water carping.
The duo also share some Church Lake history and even a few of their personal Church Lake stories which gives a great insight into a truly awe-inspiring lake 🎣

I love how every video Alan is in he is always so giddy and genuinely excited to be out fishing. It's infectious and makes me want to just get out on the bank.

Another cracking production guys. Loved every second of it. Never easy fishing for large pressured carp in February but that’s what makes it a very special time to be out there, making it happen ;)

While fishing in the middle of nowhere was restricted to days only, the government were having parties of 100 or more people in one place, breaking their own rules. All the sacrifices anglers (and most other people in the country) made, I remember very well and will never forget.

last hash vid i ever watch. 1 minute in i think he is going to drop the "NEW" lights. Nearly every other vid they show they show us the"NEW" thing, never heard such nonsense. London grammar, hey now always a good soundtrack which to be fair for me makes a good film, great fishing am doing the same this year, after a few years of not fishing due to lettting tickets go due to covid I’ve now got no tickets to fish membership or syndicate waters so back to the start for me, on the old farm pits trying to catch them old beautiful friends I met when I first started fishing, not for size as had some awesome mid 30s over the years just for the live and feeling that first got me hooked 🎣

Not long rediscovered fishing, particularly carp. Then these vids rock up on youtube. I'm sure I've met Alan years ago. At a place called Dunkleys in Akeley.. my go to place as a kid. Unfortunately got sold to people that like otters.

Another awesome release guys 👏🏻 Love your tackle, in particular my Scopes and the Buswhacker. They have completely reignited my passion for Carp Angling as they are so much more suited to the waters in my area. Tried Citruz for the first time last week and was blown away with the results. Love your videos and gear absolutely gutted my garage got broke in last year and all my nash stuff stolen had to replace it with cheaper stuff but cant trust my bite alarms after using nash s5 alarms for so long but Al get some new ones soon keep up the good work guys 😀

Oli Davies, what a true gent. The sort of gent that if was a member on an exclusive syndicate with well known anglers and your everyday anglers waiting to join for some years for a ticket, a syndicate that does not allow guests of members even, would never abuse his membership by sneaking a bunch of mates onto the syndicate for a noisy social ruining the fishing for anglers who had waited their turn and organised their week to fish. What kind of a tiny love tool behaves like that. Not Oli he’s an absolute gent right up there on humility.
