My high school friend thought it would be funny if he took my padlock and locked my locker with all my stuff in it. I stared at him. "My key was in there", I said. He gave me a blank look. He said he would go home and come back the next day with a drill. So I waited. The next day he came to school and said, "I was leaving the house with the drill in my bag and then my mother hear a clinking sound and asked what it was. I was like, 'Oh shit' and I was busted." I thought, okay, fine. That afternoon I went to the janitorial office to get one of them to cut the lock off. I waited by my locker until long after the buses had gone, then the man saw me and said, "Oops, I forgot." He cut the lock off and then I walked an hour home. My friend never paid me for the lock or even said, "I'm sorry." A few years ago I was lying in bed and suddenly the thought popped into my mind, "My friend lied to me about getting caught with the drill! That story is ridiculous! He had forgotten, or more likely was never going to bring it! He lied to me! So I missed the bus and had to walk home, and I had to buy a new lock! He LIED to me!" Yep, that was 25 years ago and it still pisses me off XD

"Everything you're wearing now looks ridiculous in 10 years." That is really great advice to put the whole obsession with fashion into perspective.

As a fellow old person, I am comforted to know that when you drink you spill all over yourself. Here I thought in all these years I just didn't learn how to drink correctly. Also, we don't get fun back to school DIYs... we should get coping with work DIYs. First one: get that big jar you had, fill with vodka like you did, put plastic flowers in it, and put on desk. Bonus: hide a straw for ninja like sipping.

Unless it is super cold (like coming straight off the ice) I do not like water enough to be able to gulp it down that much. Wow, you have a super-power, for sure! Everything I wear looks awesome ten years later because I like the things I choose. I never could follow trends like that. I don't care of it is out of fashion, if I like it and it looks good on me, I'm wearing it. I was wearing 80s style clothing in the 90s and 2000s, well before it came back into style! I just always liked the clothes from that decade and it looked good on me so I didn't care! That is the secret, love your clothes, make sure they match (at least), and you'll look cool in them, no matter what!
