Such a shame the Rival Schools cast didn't blow up in the US. Would've been nice to see one of them in Street Fighter V or MvC Infinite.

I was never sure if Sakura counted as a guest character for Rival Schools or if her inclusion is confirmation Rival Schools exists in the Street Fighter universe, but let's just use her appearance here as an excuse to get some Rival Schools characters playable in Street Fighter eventually, if Capcom never gives us a new Rival Schools game.

The loading in between character are faster than finding someone to fight in SF5 and even load in the fight so it's ok, even tekken 7 take time to load in arcade mode.

You got the bad ending. To get the good ending, you had to Beat Raizo with the Team Up Move.

I dunno if anyone ever pointed this out, but the neat little music video where everyone likes Raizo is a blooper reel where Raizo is directing the whole Rival Schools story. Only comes out from bad ends, interestingly. Good endings give a different video with the whole cast having a summer barbecue but with the same song.

Oh my! My childhood! I’m still waiting for a remake or a sequel, Rival Schools 3 maybe. I really love the Story mode of this where you can play as a created character and you will experience studying and socializing with the other characters.

Bloody Roar 2, Rival Schools, Bushido Blade, Tekken 3, Ergheiz, SF ex plus alpha. So many memories with 3d fighters on my Playstation... Those were the days!

Rival schools... To this day still one of my all-time great fighting games... once you unlock every single character oh, there was a girl who had the sickest move set, centered around Zangief 360 slam...

yooooo this was the game, seeing Roy and Kyosuke again brought back some good memories. Roberto was so busted on project justice... good times. i only knew this game existed because i rented it from blockbuster and never returned it, importing was hard pre internet.

This was one of my favorite games of that generation the only fighting game I played more was alpha 3. Thoes were the good days where you had so much content and you did not have to grind crazy to unlock stuff

I always loved how Marvel the game was with launchers and super jumps. Also Sakura's MSH vs SF style Hadoken/Shinku Hadoken are available along with the horizontal versions. Having Shun Goku Satsu as the team up super was a much more unorthodox choice rather than using her Ryu/Ken style moves. A couple months ago I revisited the game and realized Hinata is voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi, who is the voice of Sailor Moon. She also voiced Kyoko, which I found out with Namco x Capcom.

This game was so much fun. Games back in the old days, were so much fun. ^_^
