Our relatives live up the street from Buckshot Speedway, hopefully we'll attend that event. I was talking to their neighbor Tim, he sells boiled peanuts at the track. His family's favorite is Joseph n Crew. Thats Dec 2024 @ Buckstot 100,000 purse.

Hi Guys, make sure to disconnect the inertia switch, it is usually in the right quarter panel, it is designed to cut power to the fuel pump in the event of a collision. You may want to check with a local salvage yard to sponsor the wheels and tires or trade the 22s for 8 wheels and tires. Good luck & have fun!

I raced a Cavalier in enduros for a few years there fun part was how junk it was. Last year or so of its life the gauge never worked at all. No temp read out, no speedometer, no lights on it nothing. Took trunk off it aswell since it wouldnt shut without wire. And the rear axel was 1 inch difference from left to right so had some rear steer. Good times. Yall should get a roof sign made for the Marquis tho if they allow a roof sign on the vic / enduro class

K&N filters give a few more top end horsepower, but they usually hurt torque at lower engine speeds. They also require very regular cleaning and oiling, and nobody every does any of this maintenance.

Y'all need to put a J- mod valve body in the transmission of the Enduro car and take the Springs out the pumps or the shift faster

Standing on top of the stepladder is an OSHA violation but he wasn't high enough for it to be considered a serious violation, at least not when I worked for South Carolina OSHA, but you could still die doing that and yes I do have a stepladder, I didn't know my real ladder!

Go get some wheels from the junkyard. Then wrap them in primewell tires. We used those for our hobby stock.

Go to auto store and buy a 2 pc hood pin kit. Take the hood latch out. Pop rivet a screen in front of radiator. Pop rivet some expanded metal halfway across the windshield. Put a aftermarket air filter in it. K & n. Less than 69 bucks for all of it

Check for Hot Relay under the hood they are notorious for sticking and draining the battery dead it generally is the a/c relay but which ever one is hot just unplug it and you should be good

From my demo days u need to put a floor shifter in that car cause the shifter will break. Good luck 👍 🙏 cut the exhaust off an take all the junk off the top of the motor like air cleaner ect.

I still have 2 grand marquis race ready,6 pt cage/gussets I also have a total of 19 racing rims for them and 40 plus race tires,the cars passed tech at bubba raceway,$1500 for everything

Got a buddy that races crown vics locally and he told me one of his little tricks is to wire a switch to the alternator to switch it off while racing to free up a few horse powers.Good luck and keep up the good work fellas.
