Game 3 shows you exactly what the problem is. Lyn has expansion, 3 heroes + a 47 food army, and yet Happy almost wins with only his triple heroes and 2 statues. Impale + Nova kills HH so fast that evenw ith 2 barracks and expo Lyn barely can replace his army fast enough. It's untathomable that Lyn, one of the greatest players of all times, in a game where he is on 2 bases Vs 1 Undead base, almost loses to opponent that has no gold and only 3 heroes and a couple status left. I don't care how good your micro is. This is just unfathomable and unexplainable on the basis of "skill". In the Lyn Vs Labyrynth series, which, BTW, Laby won(you don't need Happy to beat Lyn: even the 3rd best Undead can easily smash him), Remo commented that Blade/TC/SH is the strongest triple hero combo in the game. No, the trongest triple hero combo in the hsitory of WC3 is DK/Lich/Dark Ranger followed by Archmage/MK/Pala. I guess we are still in the pre-Reforged era. Remo seems to forget that, back in 2018, BM received the nerf of all nerfs, with a -2 Agility nerf + a 2 second cooldown to Wind Walk. TC stomp and speed aura also got nerfed into the ground. And while it's true that Unholy aura got nerfed, it is still much, much better than Endurance Aura for 2 reasons: first, because it is not only a speed aura, but also a healing aura. Secondly, because Undead gets speed aura from it's first hero usually 2-3 minutes in, while Orc only gets speed aura at tier 2 and usually at tier 3 since Orc needs healer as second hero - no benefiot of status for free healing. Orc was always the most DOTA-like race of WC3 with trash tier 2 units and prohitively expensive or unusable tier 3 skills like bloodlust(easily stolen/canceled). Players accepted to play Orc with it's low DPS units, worst air in the game, and worst anti-magic in exchange for having heroes that, at level 4 or higher, could single-handedly win you the game. The entire Orc army was there just to support leveling heroes up by creeping, or by helping your heroes to control opponent's heroes(ensnare/purge), So they nerf Orc heroes into the ground *and* nerf the only high-DPS unit that Orc has for fast creeping(HH), meaning the nerfed Orc heroes cannot level fast enough in a matchup where leveling heroes is the single most important thing for the Orc. Taht elft only wyverns as the only usable unit for Orc. Teh problem is that you cannot go BM with wyverns since wyverns require a straight tech and straight teching with BM is suicidal since it lacks summons. So if you go wyvern, you *have* to go FS, and FS is the hero that falls off the most above level 3 in all of the game(of all heroes of all races). So with wyverns you have an 8 minute window to win before the undead second hero is level 3 or you're dead. Lyn, the best Orc of all times in one of the best shapes he's been in years, with a current MMR of 2,740(at last count) soundly loses to the 3rd best Undead. Lyntried 10 builds over the past 18 months and lost with all of them, with only mass wyvern having some success. We just keep telling Lyn: "Just play better. Git gud." At this point, it's like: "Get better, Lyn. Then you won't lose to Undead players with an MMR over 200 points lower than yours."

The worst strategy that orc goes is far seer, shadow hunter and wind riders. When lyn choose this strategy, he loses terribly against happy. The UD nuke takes heroes by the time of a blink.

I think the best way to play orc vs undead is get a bunch of wyvrn and bats and harass the main base the whole game so they can't do any thing productive while you level up like crazy. The bat upgrade and killing ghouls and acolytes are a must.

Game 2 was so freaking lame, not a single meaningful engagement the entire match. Pretty much shows that Lyn doesn't really have a chance against Happy if he isn't using lame strategies
