Nope, this is not motor covers. I removed them completely and tested - the rattling was the same.

Hey there. By engines, do you mean motors? I have several motors now as Backfire sent me some. All of them are rattling… what did you mean by their location?

@@klrktsr yes motors, I've been running new motors for a week now and that old sound is not coming back. try swapping them around and make sure they fit 100%. My problem went away as soon as I changed them. But I changed them completely with the back panel, the only way to find out what kind of problem you have is to order in parts and see what kind of old equipment produces such a sound.

@@klrktsr i understand the issue, its a user issue. Read some of the comments and educate yourself. What you are smashing on the ground is a pretty intricate piece of machinery with a lot of small moving parts. You were worried about a rattle while riding? Give it 10-20km after smashing it off the ground like a tard and you're going to start hearing lots of different rattlings.

@@SalamToU you clearly do not understand the issue and don’t understand the basic mechanics when you’re riding the board which is way more impactful than testing the rattle. What small moving parts are to break like this? Can you name some? But whatever, this is to show how and where it rattles but there’s is always some genius theorist who knows better than others.

@@klrktsr different motions stress different things, your board shouldnt be bouncing up and down at a 30° angle in either direction with a pivot point raised almost a foot off the ground. You are fucking with your bearings causing extra stress. You are putting unnecessary stress on all of the hardware by doing that. The motors, mounts, electronics. I guess it really shouldnt surprise me im not making any sense to you with the tard rage displayed in the initial clip. Im not saying you are going to destroy your board by doing that, its obviously manufactured well, but you are putting unnecessary stress on every part of the board by throwing it around hap hazardly, and i would guess that could cause some problems for you down the line. One small issue might not cause an actual problem, but 10 small issues at once tend to compound the issue, and treating your board like its indestructible by slamming it on the ground just to simulate a small rattle you could have simulated by just riding the board with the camera by the motor mounts. And i swear if you say you cant hear it on video while in motion then its a non issue.

@@SalamToU the motors are rattling and it’s a known issue, this is a test to check where it rattles. There’s way more stress on each component when riding with my 215lbs weight than testing. I’ve done about 350km since testing on this video and the board is still riding.

Nope, I gave up. This is most likely motors and they’re faulty.

I got in contact with the company and after doing some tests for them, they are sending me a replacement motor. You might be able to reach out to them and do the same. Just email tech@helloskate.com, attach this video, include your order #, and let them know when the problem started. Hope this helps!

@@klrktsr I also have the same problem. Bought mine in May so I’ve been in contact with support to change the motor. Can tell you if its a fix!

@@WellHelloThere22 it is and isn’t. I strongly believe the motors are faulty but every other motor Backfire would send me is still rattling. I gave up on this.

@@klrktsr ahh what a pity. Seems so weird that themselves not experiences this while trying boards? I figured i’d start with the motor and then maybe replace the trucks and so on

Oh they’re newly replaced and it still rattles :( I have new bearings with built in spacers

@@klrktsr have a rattle on bumpy roads. A lot of people say it’s the grub screw or bearings. I know it’s not the bearings. Is worse on cloud wheels. Lmk if you find a fix. Im gonna try to look at my motor screws and grub screw

@@klrktsr This could be tested, if you swap the wheels front to back. I have a similar sound on my board, and I think it is some production flaw for the motor.

@@rekan1987 swapping wheels doesn’t change anything. I also believe it’s motors.
