Dave and Billie jo, if you’re ever coming through the tri state here (Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana) on I275 you have to take exit 16 to Lawrenceburg IN and stop at Kinnet truck stop. They have a diner there called Howies Diner and the food is amazing! Everyone here in Lawrenceburg loves it! Oh and stop and say hello to me as well! Stay safe out there!

Trying to convince my girlfriend to do this with me, she wants to travel but you can travel and make a pretty penny while doing it. Plus take 1/3 month breaks for vacation, truck driving is a dream job of mine

Yeah I'd love to know the company that lets you take a whole week off or a little more. Most places I see give you 24hrs for every 7 days on the road. Or are you talking about accumulating that amount of time off, and then taking it?

My husband and I are about to start. I start in Aprila at Steven's it's close to our home and I can drive back and forth to class that was the deciding factor for us. He will join me a few months later for his training there after I'm finished so our pup won't be alone 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️lol it'll all work out.

I’ve got to give Billie Jo major props. Most women (or guys for that matter) can’t back a Ford Focus into a regular parking space but she backs a whole tractor trailer into spaces easily every time !

Wawa's in eastern PA. SHEETZ in western 2/3 of PA. If you find truck parking at a Wawa, use it. Great subs, freshly made. Good food.

Wawa is a huge chain throughout PA into NY and down to DC. They have gas, pretty good food and tons of snacks. Their breakfast choices are immense.

Bille Joe is a pro at backing up a semi truck. I know guys with 30 years experience who can't back up that good. I use to drive for Highland Transport, which was the first company TFI ever bought.

Know every inch of those roads! I drive truck doing local deliveries in this area. Make sure you do NOT go on any routes restricted to trucks. Albirtis makes a TON of revenue on drivers following their GPS's!

You guys have a Dead Blow Hammer? Sand filled plastic mallet/hammer. Hits the door without harming the surface. All the effort goes to the objective. Metal hammers bust stuff up and bounce off metal. Very handy tool to have in your arsenal.

There is an Alabaster about 20 minutes south of Birmingham Alabama. I live in Hoover/Pelham which is just north of Alabaster. I'm always looking for y'all whenever I'm out. Stay safe out there!

You can only find a Wawa in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, sometimes in Florida and I believe in North Carolina and South Carolina they got good stuff and food there 👍🏾

It always astounds me how out of the way America all looks the same. I lived in Georgia for ten years and every small town they go through looks like parts of Savannah, Atlanta, Columbus, Augusta and or Macon.

he might drive team with billie. its likly CFI told him he cannot vlog while driving anymore for liability reasons. So this is the compromise. Im guessing he is employed with CFI because he has video of himself lowering landing gear on their trailers etc.

Wawa is great except the truck parking in that one is a pain. Guys think just because they’re running in for a coffee they can just park in the middle of the lot and block all the parking spots.

That’s the overdryve 8 rand McNally right? I had that thing but it was laggy and slow and I didn’t like it. I have the overdryve 8 pro II now and love it. Much smoother and better than the old one.

@@billie6217 mines just really slow laggy and yeah, the overdryve 8 pro 2 you can find at flying J or loves is what I’m running now and I love this thing. Much faster runs better. The maps and layout I think is cleaner. Garmin dezl is a good one too pretty sure that’s the same Dave had used when he was the driver of the rig before so maybe if he’s got his. Anyhow be safe y’all. I’m a Schneider driver and I keep passing trucks wondering if it’s the crew lol. Make sure to get that GPS updated though if you get the new one or the maps will be missing some roads.
