My German Shepherd had been through two other homes before I adopted him due to aggression and general wild behavior. He sure is a hardhead but it's very rewarding spending time with him. He's almost four years old and well behaved now. There are solutions for "untrainable" dogs, but usually time and age takes care of bad behavior along with training. Spending time with your dog and socializing him does more good than anything. They're pack animals.

If anything, the "story" proves that she is unhinged, easily irritable, and prone to throwing in the towel during certain situations rather than working to find a solution to things. I don't know about farm animals but they were all supposedly 25yrs old. That could be an old age for a horse. Hopefully she had a vet come out and put them down. 😢

There is no way to defend an indefensible action. As horrible as these action were, totally mystified as to why this was included in her book until I realized her actions of puppy and goat killing were witnessed by the gravel pit workers and potentially a school bus driver. Now I’m assuming she doesn’t want to have to pay hush money to them - this is her misguided way of getting ahead of the story
