Backpack Hunting, Chasing Sambar in the Mountains

This backpack hunt saw four of us head out for a multi-day hunting adventure in cold and challenging cloudy conditions, hoping to help find a first high country deer for Ben and Charlie.

G'day Brad, I'm shooting a Proof Elevation which I purchased from Delta Tactical... I can't fault it, and I'm very happy with it. The scope is a Hawke SF Frontier 4-20x44, nice glass, illuminated reticle, nice turrets and a well made zero stop which is useful as we dial for elevation.

@@bradleytyrrell4417 I'm shooting a 300wm, but considering buying a 7mm PRC barrel as the barrels can be screwed on and off to easily change calibre.
