Backpacking Havasupai and the Confluence

Over 3 days myself along with a few buddies backpack into the beautiful oasis that is Havasupai in northern Arizona at the southern end of the Grand Canyon. If you're planning a trip or thinking about planning a trip, you'll love being able to see how the trail looks, gain tips from my experience and getting some stoke from seeing these beautiful places before you go.
On day one we hike into the canyon and enjoy Havasu falls that evening. Day 2 we tackle the big 16 mile round trip hike to see Mooney falls, Beaver falls and then all the way down to the Confluence where the spring flows into the Colorado river.
Hopefully from this video, you can take away some tips and ideas for your hike here.

JS, this video may be my favorite so far! PD and I watched with the kids and we were so amazed at the colors and the clear water, not to mention the sketchy looking cliff hanging…. 😳 great camera work. Hope that ankle gets better! Thank goodness for helicopters. Thx for sharing.

Tripa is actually cow's intestines or tripes, delicious in tacos tho. You should try lengua tacos if you haven't yet which is cow's tongue.

Beautiful !! Have a few questions though, if I may The descend is not that scary so long as you are careful right ? Because some section look bad but I guess sometimes looking through the lens is not what exactly is there ? How long did it take to confluence from beaver falls ? Do you need a hiking pole ? Is it 6 miles one way from beaver falls ? Is it hard to follow the trial without a gps ? I see in the end at the confluence you walked into the water without taking the climb up the rocks around it. Is it safe ? I am just curious. Thanks for the video !!
