Backtesting the FTR Forex Trading Strategy in some of the hardest conditions

Not the best start to January, but after a cracking December. Definitely worth watching the first 20 mins as I go through in a fair bit of detail regarding the trading strategy.

Following this on my back test and ended up with 39.98. Admittingly, NFP would have been closed so probably minus another 7 or so. I noted that FXCM pricing was quite a bit off Oanda (which is what I used). Awesome video. Thank you :)

just by puting my sl on prop firms limit of 5 pips minimum i got 50% profits backtesting the same week, i dont think being so precise with the stop loss is always the smartest move

👍Thanks. A casual remark here answers a common problem : what if, buying, the price breaches the zone/line but in the megaphone expansion of a higher-high with an inconvenient lower-low (or, shorting, a lower low with higher high)??? Ans -- just leave the reverse/breakout trade, don't take it.👍

Using this strategy on us30. Ended the week with 8 losses. But the system had 3 wins and 7 losses. Just need to be confident and not doubt myself

Women from Denmark that thanks you BIG for your teaching :-) Note: Could you make a test of: Stop Loss = ok vs. Stop Loss with Wick Break = ok vs. Stop Loss with Body Break = ok. Why, well I notice that your trading is often very right but because of stop loss wick break you loose a lot of money. Maybe no Stop loss would be to prefere if you are at the screen? I cannot be with you on Discord because I am a disabled and my income is to small, but I am greatfull for your learning. Hug from Maxine

Thank you for giving us these information for free. I think your win rate for this strategy will increase if you give your stop loss a little bit breathing space. Like adding 1 pip to all your stop losses

bro i think u missed one trade wrongly, if u go in vdo time 54.20 u will see the trade u put for 17 RR u didn't take the order block properly, u left some space down of the order block, if u take it from top to bottom i think it was triggered and was 17RR trade profit, plz see it and if i m wrong plz guide, thanks
